Feel the extreme power of Zeus as he channels all his rage onto the reels of Stakelogic’s latest release, Wrath of Zeus!
The ruler of Mount Olympus and thunder God, Zeus, steps down from his duties to deliver chaos and electrifying wins of up to 10,000x your bet. Watch as sparks fly during the ClusterBreaker mechanic, which enables symbols to split for enhanced winning clusters.
This is boosted further by the Thunder Breaker feature, which guarantees to split up to 20 paytable symbols for maximum thrill and potential. Players can also indulge in a Hold ‘n’ Win bonus, super stake, bonus buy, and an epic Free Spins mode.
With a fixed RTP of 96.01% and a high volatility rating, Wrath of Zeus ties off the maths model with a well-rounded 10,000x max win potential. The inspirational Greek Mythology theme has been captured elegantly in this release, depicted in a way that makes it look like an oil/water painting.
Its charming aesthetics are further complemented by bursts of vibrant colours and the appearance of Zeus fiercely guarding the reel set, ready to zap in promising rewards. Wrath of Zeus is certainly a positive change of pace from Skyline Fortunes and one that we’re eager to explore!

Base Game & Features
Wrath of Zeus is the latest high volatility release from Stakelogic, featuring 5 reels, 4 rows, and the popular Cluster Pays mechanic. Wins occur when 5-15 matching symbols fall upon the reels in a horizontal or vertical state, so long as they’re adjacent.
The game’s paytable panel consists of 4 high-paying and 3 low-paying symbols, each represented by Greek Mythology icons. Each symbol applies a fixed payout between 0.2x and 250x your bet for a winning cluster of 5+ symbols.
Furthermore, Wild symbols are present on all reels during the Free Spins mode, substituting for all paytable symbols. Wild symbols, when in view, reveal Multipliers between x2 and x10, which apply to each winning cluster they are a part of.
Lastly, each winning cluster is removed from the reels, creating space for new symbols to drop in via an Avalanche Feature. This continues until no new winning clusters are available within the spin.

ClusterBreaker
During gameplay, whenever a paytable symbol (excluding Scatters and Wilds) appears on the reels, there is a chance for it to split into 2, 3, or 4 sections in the same position.
Each section of the split symbol acts as 1 instance towards cluster wins. For example, a symbol that splits into 3 sections and is adjacent to 2 identical symbols will create a winning cluster (3+1+1).
Please note that paytable symbols cannot split more than once through the ClusterBreaker mechanic.

Coin Symbols
Special Coin Symbols with values between 0.05x and 500x your bet appear in the base game, Free Spins, and Hold ‘n’ Win mode, on any reel position. During the Hold ‘n’ Win feature, Coin symbols lock in position and award their respective values.
In addition, Coin symbols can be manipulated by the ClusterBreaker mechanic and Thunder Breaker feature.
Thunder Breaker
The Thunder Breaker feature is available during the base game and Free Spins mode. Once active, Zeus will strike the reels with lightning, breaking up to 20 paytable symbols, with the potential to create winning clusters.
Certain symbols affected may also receive a random Multiplier between x1 and x10, which is applied to each position. Please note that not all affected symbols are guaranteed to receive a Multiplier.
Furthermore, Scatter and Wild symbols are not affected by this feature, and the Hold ‘n’ Win bonus cannot trigger at this time.
Hold ‘n’ Win Feature
Triggering the Hold ‘n’ Win feature is done so by landing 5 or more Coin symbols on the reels in the base game, awarding 3 Respins. Coin symbols do not need to create a cluster win to activate this feature.
Once active, all triggering Coin symbols (and any future ones) in view during this feature will lock into their current position until the end of the round. Each time a new Coin symbol hits, it will reset the current Respins Meter to 3.
In addition, the ClusterBreaker is active. If 5+ Coin symbols create a cluster, they will merge into a single 1×1 Coin with a combined total value. After the merge, new Coin symbols may appear within the empty positions created by the cluster.
During the Hold ‘n’ Win bonus, a Collection Meter is apparent throughout the feature, starting at x1. Each time the meter fills with 3 merges, it will increment the Multiplier by +x1, progressing up to a maximum of x200.
Furthermore, Zeus will strike the last merged Coin and transform it into a Charged symbol, applying the current Meter Multiplier to it. The charged coin will then select another Coin in the same spin and transfer its value as an additive boost, before it merges.
If a Charged Coin is present on the reels and no new Coin symbol lands in the final spin, there is a chance that Zeus will trigger the Last Chance Spin feature, awarding +1 Free Spin, but this is not guaranteed.

Super Stake & Bonus Buy
Players within acceptable regions can purchase the Hold ‘n’ Win and Free Spins mode for 80x and 100x their current bet, respectively (RTP 96.01%).
Alternatively, UK players and other permissible countries can access the Super Stake feature for an additional 50% of their bet per spin. With this feature active, your chances of triggering the Free Spins mode are doubled (RTP 96.01%).
Wrath of Zeus has a maximum win potential of 10,000x your bet. If a game round exceeds this figure, the current mode will end, and the player returns to the base game with the full amount.

Wrath of Zeus Free Spins
The Free Spins feature is triggered when 3 Scatter symbols land on reels 1, 3, and 5 in the base game, awarding 5 Free Spins.
During each spin, between 1 & 3 Wild symbols are guaranteed to land on the reels. In addition, Coin symbols can appear on the reels, thus triggering the Hold ‘n’ Win feature.
Finally, landing 2 or 3 Scatters awards an additional +1 and +3 Free Spins, respectively.

Our Honest Verdict
Firstly, let’s take a moment to appreciate and admire the stunning visuals and effects that Stakelogic has whipped up in this release. When you first load up the game, you’re met with a canvas of colour and beauty, in addition to lightning animations and the presence of Zeus himself.
With so much to take in from a design perspective, Wrath of Zeus spoils us further with a variety of immersive features and mechanics. First on our list to discuss is the ClusterBreaker mechanic, which enables symbols to split into 2, 3, or 4 instances when it fancies.
This particular mechanic works nicely in conjunction with the Cluster Pays mechanic, allowing players to create or enhance winning sequences in each spin and receive bigger payouts as a result.
When he’s feeling generous, our new pal Zeus can light up the reels and activate the Thunder Breaker feature, causing up to 20 symbols to break into individual instances, as part of the ClusterBreaker mechanic. Pushing the boat out further, Stakelogic links a Multiplier between x1 and x10 to this feature, which applies to certain positions, but it’s not always guaranteed.
Wrath of Zeus is also home to a Hold ‘n’ Win bonus and a Free Spins mode, catering to a wide audience of players and their personal preferences. Before you’re quick to judge, Stakelogic has applied a number of modifications to the Hold ‘n’ Win bonus, with similarities to Chilli Heat Spicy Spins and Retro Sweets.
Having a cluster of Coin symbols merge is vital, as it clears space for new Coins to drop, thus creating additional cluster merges. If you’re hoping to see bigger payouts, creating a merge of Coin symbols is absolutely key when implementing the Multiplier Meter.
Topping the scales in its favour, Stakelogic includes a generous maths model. The max win potential of 10,000x your bet pairs well with the theoretical RTP of 96.01% and high volatility score, which is about average for a game of this stature.
All in all, Wrath of Zeus is another great offering from Stakelogic. It’s not the mightiest Zeus slot to ever grace our screens, but a memorable instalment nonetheless.
