WitchyPoppins is a 5-reel Video Slot with up to 32,768 ways to win. Winning combinations are formed when 3 or more of the same symbols land from left to right and right to left, starting from the leftmost and rightmost reels.

PopWins

Each time a winning combination forms, all winning symbols will be removed from the reels which are then replaced by 2 new symbols, increasing the reel height. 

This continues until there are no more winning combinations present on the reels. In the base game, reels can expand up to 5×6 symbols high.

Nudge Feature

During gameplay, Nudges can randomly occur that bump the reels up or down to improve a win. Below is an example of the possible nudges that can occur.

WitchyPoppins Free Spins

Landing 3, 4, or 5 Bonus Scatters in the base game triggers the Free Spins round. 

Depending on the number of triggering Scatters, you will be awarded a random number of Free Spins as follows.

The Free Spins round also has an active Global Win Multiplier that increases by +x1 with each pop that occurs. The Global Win Multiplier is applied to all future wins during this time.

If a Multiplicative symbol lands on the same spin as a winning combination, it will multiply the Global Win Multiplier between x2 and x11. However, landing an additive Multiplier symbol with a win will add between +5 and +50 to the Multiplier.

WitchyPoppins: Our Verdict

WitchyPoppins is a spooktacular slot that fits in nicely with the upcoming festivities, yet keeps much-loved gameplay and features alive from a series of games from the legends that are AvatarUX. 

AvatarUX’s latest release, DonKey & the Goats left us bewildered by the fact that it wasn’t a PopWins special. We’ve all become accustomed to AvatarUX’s PopWins and MultiPop mechanics, so much so, that we wouldn’t expect anything less in a new release. 

DonKey & the Goats seemed to be the exception, yet it didn’t take long for AvatarUX to jump back on the PopWins wagon in WitchyPoppins. 

However, AvatarUX has switched things up a little by introducing a Nudge Feature that aids in forming wins and triggering Free Spins. Not the most flavourable feature that comes to mind, yet it’s one that AvatarUX fans will certainly approve of given what it’s capable of.
