Outlaws Hunter Slot Review 2024
5 Dangerous Outlaws are on the run and the only person who can stop them is the Sheriff in Stakelogic’s latest release, Oulaws Hunter!
Putting his bravery to the test, the Sheriff must tread carefully as every Outlaw is an Expanding Wild with a deadly Multiplier.
Outlaws Hunter isn’t Stakelogic’s first rodeo in the Wild West. Cash Express, Wild Moon Saloon, Black Gold Megaways and others saw us heading west before, and this time we’re playing Sheriff as we round up the undesireables in the name of law and order.
Outlaws Hunter Base Game and Features
Outlaws Hunter is a 5 reel slot with 50 fixed paylines. Winning combinations are formed when 3 or more of the same symbols land from left to right, starting from the left-most reel.
The minimum bet available to players is £/€0.50 per spin and the maximum bet available is £/€500 per spin, with a small selection of betting options in between the two. Outlaws Hunter has a theoretical RTP of 95.97% and a max win capacity of 20,000x.
In terms of symbols, the highest paying regular symbol here is the Sheriff, followed by the Guns, Hat, Horseshoe and Whiskey Glass. Low-paying symbols are standard Ace, King, Queen, Jack and Ten.
Wilds
There is also a Wild symbol present which subsitutes for all other symbols except Scatters. Whenever a Wild symbol lands in view during the base game, it will expand to fill the entire reel and reveals a random Outlaw.
- Billy the Kiddo – Awards a Multiplier between x2 and x10.
- El Mexicano – Awards a Multiplier between x5 and x15.
- Bella Star – Awards a Multiplier between x7 and x17.
- Butcher Cassidy – Awards a Multiplier between x10 and x20.
There is also an Angry Bear Wild symbol available which triggers the Tomahawk Storm Feature when it lands in view.
Super Stake
Before you can begin spinning, you will have the option to activate Stakelogic’s beloved Super Stake feature.
Choosing to activate this feature will Double your current bet, but with that comes certain advantages. Once active, you will be given extra chances of hitting insanely valuable winning combinations.
Tomahawk Storm Feature
As mentioned above, if an Angry Bear Wild symbol appears on the middle reel, it will automatically trigger the Tomahawk Storm feature.
Once active, the Tomahawk Storm feature will transform all Low-paying symbols into Angry Bear Wild symbols.
Outlaws Hunter Free Spins
Landing 3 or more Scatters in any position across the reels, automatically triggers the Free Spins round. Your total number of Free Spins is determined by a Fortune Wheel which can award between 5 and 20 Free Spins.
During Free Spins, all Wild symbols that land will reveal a Multiplier value between x5 and x500. Wilds become sticky during this round, remaining in their position for the duration of Free Spins.
Each Wild Multiplier value will be added to the total Multiplier Counter and each winning combination will be Multiplied by this value.
Outlaws Hunter: Our Verdict
There isn’t anything inherently wrong with Outlaws Hunter, but it resides within an unfortunate category of very competitive games.
When you think of Wild West Slots and the best among them you’d probably think of Nolimit City’s Deadwood, Tombstone or Tombstone RIP…or you might think of Dead or Alive II by Netent or Money Train by Relax Gaming. The Wild West category is very common, and among the ranks are titans unlikely to be bested any time soon.
Then again, Outlaws Hunter doesn’t necessarily need to compete with the likes of aforementioned games to be relevant just because they share common themes, and when we threw the comparisons aside and tested it ourselves we found ourselves an enjoyable game with plenty to offer.
Outlaws Hunter does well to make the Base Game exciting with Outlaw Wild Symbols, and the Tomahawk Storm Feature does nicely as an extra to keep the player engaged and interested.
Free Spins are unsurprisingly even better with Sticky Wilds capable of holding huge multipliers, and the potential as a result looks quite staggering at 20,000x as a maximum win.
Outlaws Hunter doesn’t quite have the aesthetic that gives you that lasting impression, but if you give it a chance then you may well find that it will prove itself as a game that gives you plenty of reasons to come back again.
