Golden Goose Megaways is a highly volatile 6-reel Video Slot featuring 117,649 ways to win and bet sizes between £.€0.20 per spin and £.€30 per spin. Other statistics include an overall RTP of 96.44% and a whopping 150,335x max win cap.
Wins are calculated when 2-6 matching symbols land from left to right, starting from the leftmost reel. The game’s top-paying symbol is the Harp which awards wins between 1x and 25x your bet. Wilds appear on reels 2-5, substituting for all symbols except Scatters and Egg symbols.
Each winning sequence is removed from the reels via the Cascade Feature. Empty positions are replaced with new symbols from above. Egg symbols are also replaced during reactions.
Cloud Prizes
Above reels 2, 3, 4, and 5 are special Cloud Prizes which begin with a value of 2x your bet. Each time an Egg symbol appears, it increases the cloud prize above it by up to 500x your bet.
Cloud Prizes carry over to Free Spins once triggered, with Egg symbols appearing only on reels 2, 3, 4, and 5. Cloud Prizes can be collected randomly when a Bonus Boy appears from the Castle or Beanstalk. Once this happens, the collected Cloud Prize resets to 0.
Win Exchange
In the base game, whenever 80x your bet or more is won, you have the option to exchange the total amount for 10 Free Spins. If you win between 25x and 80x your bet, you have the option to exchange the entire amount for a chance to win 10 Free Spins.
Landing the cursor on a Green section of the wheel means the gamble has been successful, however, losing the gamble will result in your total win being taken and no Free Spins awarded.
Bonus Buy
Players can purchase the Free Spins round via the Bonus Buy option for an additional 80x their bet. Utilising the Bonus Buy option will increase the overall RTP to 96.47%.
Free Spins
Landing 3 or more Scatters in the base game triggers the Free Spins round, awarding 10 Free Spins. For every Scatter after the 3rd, a further +5 Free Spins are awarded.
During Free Spins, the first bonus boy to jump out will deliver a Cloud Prize Multiplier of x1, the second will bring a x2 Cloud Prize Multiplier, and so on. In this round, Cloud Prizes are multiplied by the displayed Multiplier.
Landing 3 or more Scatters awards an additional +5 Free Spins, plus a further +5 Free Spins for each additional Scatter. At the end of Free Spins, the total winnings will be credited and players return to the base game.

When the Megaways mechanic first came to light, many providers facilitated this in their new releases. Megaways titles have died down since then, but every so often, we get one creep out of the woodwork.
The latest Megaways title to surface is from the creators of the mechanic itself. Golden Goose Megaways is a spin-off from the popular children’s fairytale, Jack and the Beanstalk, which has us climbing the magic beanstalk to retrieve Cloud Prizes.
Without a gnarly Giant chasing you down the beanstalk, you can take your time collecting cloud prizes and indulge in a Free Spins round, where Bonus Boys enhance cloud prize wins via Increasing Multipliers.
Bonus Boys are available in the base game, but they become more apparent in Free Spins. Good news right? The only issue with this is that Cloud Prizes don’t regenerate quickly enough to be worthy of collection. Occasionally, Bonus Boys can retrieve all 4 cloud prizes in one go, but in an ideal situation, you want to build up a good prize pot before they come in and collect it all.
Players will be racing up the beanstalk when they catch wind of the 150,335x max win cap. Whether Golden Goose Megaways can produce such a figure is questionable, but it doesn’t hurt to find out.
