About Oi Studios
Rather than a way to get someone’s attention, Oi stands for Outrageously Innovative, a self-imposed challenge that the Las Vegas-based studio set for itself from the moment it launched in May 2025.
Founded by a team of seasoned industry professionals led by Head of Studio Christian Bugno and co-founder and Head of Product Rob H., the studio joined Games Global’s exclusive network straight out of the gate, giving it immediate access to over 40 partner studios and hundreds of operators worldwide.
What followed was a debut that suggested the name was not just marketing. Shisha Spins arrived the same month the studio was incorporated as their debut, transporting players into a richly realised Arabian palace setting presided over by the character Princess Amira. Velvet curtains, latticed windows, plush cushions, and a full Arabic-influenced soundtrack built an atmosphere that immediately set the release apart from more generic releases on the platform.
The mechanics underneath were equally well-considered: a 5×3 grid with 20 paylines, a Link and Win bonus respin system triggered by Coin and Rose symbols that lock in place as new specials land, four fixed jackpots accessed through Rose symbols, and a bonus round stacked with guaranteed win minimums and multipliers.
