Base Game & Features
12 Pots of Gold: Drum Frenzy is a medium volatility video slot with 5 reels, 3 rows, and 20 fixed pay lines. Paytable symbols award winning payouts when 3, 4, or 5 land upon connecting pay lines, starting from reel 1.
The Triple 7s symbol has the highest pay value, followed by Double 7s, Single 7s, or any combination of the 3. Other symbols include Harps, Hats, Clovers, and Bars. After a win has been confirmed on the reels, a fixed payout between 0.2x and 50x your bet is awarded.
Finally, Wild symbols cover all reel positions and substitute for all symbols except Epic Strike & Bonus Scatters.
Epic Strike
To the left of the main reel set is a list of Epic Tower Prizes. When 3 or more Epic Strike symbols land in a base game spin, the Epic Strike Feature triggers, awarding the Cash Prize from the list for the corresponding number of Epic Strike symbols in view.
- 3 Epic Strike: 1x your bet
- 4 Epic Strike: 2x your bet
- 5 Epic Strike: 5x your bet
- 6 Epic Strike: 15x your bet
- 7 Epic Strike: 25x your bet
- 8 Epic Strike: 50x your bet
- 9 Epic Strike: 100x your bet
- 10 Epic Strike: 250x your bet
- 11 Epic Strike: 1,000x your bet
- 12 Epic Strike: 4,000x your bet
Tower Bonus
During gameplay, each Wild symbol that appears in view is collected for a chance to trigger the Tower Bonus, with the more Wilds collected in a single spin, the higher the chance of triggering it. Once active, a special reel with Cash Prizes, Bonus Spins, & Drum Frenzy functions can be won at random.
Collect Symbols
Throughout the base game, up to 4 Drum Collect symbols can appear on the reels. Each Collect symbol, once in view, increases your chance to level up in Bonus Spins. The available Collect symbols are: Drum Collect, Jumbo Collect, Cash Collect, & Drum Frenzy.
12 Pots of Gold Drum Frenzy: Bonus Spins
Landing Bonus Scatters on reels 2, 3, & 4 in the base game triggers the Bonus Spins mode, awarding 3 Free Spins. Once active, the session is played with Collect symbols only.
In this mode, Collect symbols accumulate to unlock new Bonus Levels, of which there are 8 in total. Each successful Bonus Level expands the reels by +1 row and resets the Free Spins meter to 3. Cash Prizes are awarded at the end of Bonus Spins, at the current Level:
- Level 1: Requires 5 Collect symbols for the next upgrade, awarding 4x your bet
- Level 2: Requires 10 Collect symbols to award 5x your bet
- Level 3: Requires 15 Collect symbols to award 15x your bet
- Level 4: Requires 20 Collect symbols to award 25x your bet
- Level 5: Requires 25 Collect symbols to award 50x your bet
- Level 6: Requires 35 Collect symbols to award 100x your bet
- Level 7: Requires 55 Collect symbols to award 250x your bet
- Level 8: Requires 70 Collect symbols to award 1,000x your bet
- Top Prize: Awards up to 4,000x your bet
Drum Features
Each Collect symbol is attached to Bonus Scatters, responsible for triggering the following Drum Features:
- Jumbo Drum: Awards 3 Free Spins. Once active, Jumbo Collect symbols appear on the reels as giant-sized icons.
- Cash Drum: Triggers with 3 Free Spins. Once active, random Cash Prizes are displayed on the Epic Strike list, while Cash Collect symbols increase the value of all remaining Bonus Levels in Free Spins.
- Drum Frenzy: Begins with 3 Free Spins. Once active, both the Jumbo Drum & Cash Drum features are active in the same session.
Win Booster
Players can activate the Win Booster for an additional 50% their current bet. Once active, each spin has an increased chance of triggering Bonus Spins. Please note that the Win Booster may not be available above a certain bet threshold.
Our Honest Verdict
Gameburger Studios continues to direct their creativity & innovation in each new release of the ’12 Pots of Gold’ series. Although each game shares plenty of familiar mechanics and visual cues, they also feel fresh, unique, and genuinely exciting on their own.
The Irish theme plays a big part in their success, standing as one of the most prolonged and experienced themes in the iGaming industry, and here it feels confident rather than recycled. From the vibrant colour palette to the rhythmic soundscapes, this game still carries the charm, character, and appeal of its predecessors.
In terms of its content, 12 Pots of Gold: Drum Frenzy returns to familiar features. The Epic Strike feature is one we’ve encountered in several Gameburger Studio releases. However, this feature rarely outstays its welcome, acting as a great distraction in the base game, particularly when you eagerly await Bonus Spins.
During Bonus Spins, regardless of which Drum Feature is active, each mode offers the chance to upgrade to new Bonus Levels, increasing the max payout potential of Cash Prizes up to 4,000x your bet. For the best results, Drum Frenzy offers the most rewarding gameplay, thanks to having both the Jumbo Collect & Cash Drum mechanics active throughout.
With a max win capacity of 5,165x your bet, 12 Pots of Gold: Drum Frenzy has plenty of potential for those willing to ride the rhythm. All in all, this game remains loyal to its predecessors, using familiar mechanics and a charming Irish theme, making it an enjoyable experience overall.
