Bamboo Pandits Slot Review
Plenty of slots stack character modifiers side by side and call it a bonus; Bamboo Pandits is built so its three actually feed each other, and that’s the whole reason to play it. The guardians on the reels, a broad-chested panda in lacquered armour, a red panda with firecrackers and a raccoon hauling a woven basket, each collect towards a Respin with one job, and the jobs stack.
That system sits inside ELK Studios‘ usual maths: 96% RTP, high volatility, a hit frequency of 24.8%, and a top prize of 10,000x the stake, which works out to €1,000,000 at the maximum bet of 100. Stakes run from 0.20 to 100 per spin.
The 10,000x ceiling sits mid-pack for modern releases, but the route there, through moving wilds and stacking position multipliers, is more interesting than the number suggests.
Base Game & Features
The base game is set against pagoda roofs, a bamboo fence and misty blue mountains, rendered in a warm, storybook cartoon style. It’s colourful and character-driven without getting cluttered. The reels themselves do a fair amount of waiting around, as high-volatility base games do.

There’s usually something to watch, though. Loot symbols collect towards the Pandit features, and a random event can change an ordinary spin in a hurry. The Wild substitutes for all paying symbols except the Bonus symbol. Everything else in the base game feeds the Pandit system or the bonus trigger.
Gust of Wind
Before any spin, a Gust of Wind may randomly activate. It comes in two flavours:
- Loot Wind adds 4-7 Loot symbols to the reels
- Bonus Wind adds 2-5 Bonus symbols to the reels
Either one can turn a dead-looking spin into a live one. 4-7 extra Loot symbols materially advances the Pandit collection, and 2-5 extra Bonus symbols bring a natural trigger within reach.
The Three Pandits and Their Respins
Three Pandits can be collected during the base game, and each awards a Respin with its own effect:
- Multiplier Pandit collects a rocket and may add Position Multipliers to random positions before awarding a Respin
- Wild Pandit collects a dumpling and may jump onto the grid as a Big Wild that can move and change size between Respins
- Mystery Pandit collects a smokebomb and may add Mystery symbols to random positions before awarding a Respin
Pandits fire in a set sequence when more than one lands together: Wild first, Multiplier second, Mystery last. Position Multipliers are added together when several contribute to the same win, and a Position Multiplier landing on the same position as the Big Wild adds its value to the Big Wild’s own multiplier.
Bamboo Pandits Bonus Game
The Bonus Game triggers off 3 or more Bonus symbols. It starts with 5 Bonus Spins and moves to a bigger stage: a 6-column, 6-row grid with 44 fixed paylines.
The spin economy is simple and tense. Each spin either collects a Pandit or awards 2-5 additional Bonus Spins. Three Bonus symbols award one spin during the bonus intro, and each additional Bonus symbol beyond three awards one more. Landing three during the round retriggers the whole thing.
A bonus can end almost before it starts if the spins run dry, but a run of extensions and Pandit collections builds genuine momentum, because every Pandit collected makes the next Respin stronger. Which Pandits arrive, and in what order, decides what the round becomes.

The natural trigger survived long enough to develop across the session, with the Wild Pandit and Multiplier Pandit eventually working together on consecutive Respins. It’s never guaranteed, and that’s the point: two bonuses with the same starting spins can play out completely differently.

X-iter Bonus Buy Options
ELK’s X-iter menu offers five purchasable modes in the base game. All of them run at 96.0% RTP, and costs run from 0.50 up to 25,000.00:
- Bonus Hunt at 2.5x: more than 3 times the chance to trigger the Bonus Game
- Mega Bonus Hunt at 5x: more than 6 times the chance to trigger the Bonus Game
- Lucky Wind at 25x: starts the game with a guaranteed Gust of Wind feature
- Bonus at 100x: guaranteed entry to the Bonus Game
- Maxed Bonus at 250x: guaranteed entry to the Super Bonus Game with all three Pandits active
The two hunt modes were the best value on the menu. Lucky Wind at 25x was mixed: one purchase fed useful Pandit action, another added symbols that never turned into much.
The 250x Maxed Bonus is the most exciting route and produced the best results of the session, but it’s an expensive ticket and not one to buy repeatedly. For regular returns to the game, the cheaper end of the ladder is the sensible place to live.

The Mega Bonus Hunt spin covers a similar job for a fifth of the price of the full bonus buy, trading certainty for odds. Where Lucky Wind guarantees a feature, the hunt modes stack the odds instead.

The full X-iter menu, with all five routes and their prices, is laid out below.

Our Honest Verdict
This is a slow-building game with a payoff that isn’t the top prize, it’s the moment the guardians start working together. The base game asks for patience between features, and the grove stays pretty while you wait, but you’re here for the bonus, and you’re here because it comes out different every time.
Its strength is that the Pandits compound instead of sitting in parallel: a Big Wild that grows, picks up multipliers and then walks into a better position is worth a hundred static bonuses. Its weakness is the gap between the good sessions and the flat ones, and the Mystery Pandit, which promises more than it tends to hand over.
It suits players who like several mechanics in play at once and don’t mind paying for feature-heavy slots, and it’s a strong entry for that audience. If you want a simple spin-and-win, this grove isn’t yours.
