Beanstalk Grows Wild 2

Beanstalk Grows Wild 2 Slot Review

A beanstalk thick as a tower trunk twists up through candy-coloured clouds, past a sandstone castle perched in the cloudbank and a treasure chest spilled open in the cloud layer below the grid. Beanstalk Grows Wild 2, from Trigger Button, is that rare fairytale slot where the bonus round isn’t the point: the work you do in the base game, tending beans and banking their golden payoff, matters more than the free spins it eventually pays out.

It runs at 96.04% RTP on medium volatility, with a 21.83% hit frequency, 20 fixed paylines, and stakes from 0.10 to 50.

Base Game & Features

Twenty fixed paylines carry every win, and the grid sits against a peach-orange sky with glossy leaves curling up both sides of the frame. There are no symbol-level pay values to speak of, so the money here lives in the features rather than the line pays. Four of them run through the base game:

• Growing Wilds – built by bean symbols landing beneath the reels
• The Giant – a random appearance that adds rows to the grid
• Golden Goose multiplier – activates when the Goose lands
• Golden Prize Egg – an instant prize that can hatch once laid by the Goose
• Free Spins symbols – three or more unlock the bonus round

Two of those four base features fire on symbol landings and two are random, and the random pair are what keep a spin from ever being truly empty. The build order matters too, because several of them feed each other:

1. Bean symbols land and grow beneath the reels
2. A woken bean becomes a Growing Wild that climbs each spin
3. Finished Growing Wild runs can drop a golden wild into the tally above the reels
4. Banked golden wilds carry into the free spins round when it triggers

Growing Wilds

Bean symbols land beneath the reels and swell towards activation. Once a bean wakes, its Growing Wild freezes in place and climbs higher with every spin until the entire reel is covered in wilds. Several can build at the same time, so a few patient spins can leave two or three reels slowly turning green.

Any bean pod on the reels can trigger at any moment, so the bottom of the screen is always worth watching. The growth is visual rather than mechanical in the sense that any pod might wake on any spin; there’s no counter to read or threshold to count down to.

Those stored wilds are the quiet heart of the game. Every golden wild banked in the base game is carried into the free spins round, which gives the spins between bonuses a sense of accumulation a straight scatter hunt never has.

The Giant

The Giant stomps in without warning and adds up to two extra rows to the grid for that spin, opening space for combinations the standard layout can’t pay. If Growing Wilds are already active when he appears, they instantly transform into full-reel wilds, which is where the two features overlap to best effect. The extra rows only last for the spin he arrives on.

The Golden Goose Multiplier

When the Goose lands, she activates the current multiplier to boost all wins on that spin, stepping from 2x up to 10x with each activation. The multiplier applies to any winning combination on the spin it fires.

One catch: the multiplier reverts to 2x if it isn’t used, so a 10x that lands on a dead spin is gone. It stings, but it’s part of the rhythm.

Golden Prize Egg

The Goose can also lay a Golden Prize Egg, which cracks with anticipation before bursting open for an instant 50x bet reward. It can hatch at any moment once laid, and there’s no strategy to it, just a pleasant jolt when it goes.

Beanstalk Grows Wild 2 Free Spins & Bonus Features

Land three or more Free Spins symbols and the bonus round unlocks. Rather than adapting a base game idea, it sets its own path, with wilds scattering onto random positions instead of growing from the base of the reels. The round can also retrigger for more chances to win.

Two wild types do the work inside the round:

• Golden Wilds – every wild banked in the base game drops onto a random position on each free spin
• Rainbow Wild – can explode into additional Golden Wilds, up to five more on a single appearance

The round rewards preparation. The more golden wilds you banked before triggering, the fuller the screen gets once you’re inside, and a Rainbow Wild landing on a busy board is where the big combinations live. With five extra wilds possible from a single explosion, the gap between a prepared round and a bare one can be enormous.

Bonus Buy

There’s a bonus buy with three tiers, each purchasing a fixed number of free spins straight away:

• Four free spins – the cheapest entry into the round
• Eight free spins – the middle tier
• Twelve free spins – the largest round on offer

What you’re really purchasing is the spins themselves rather than the golden wilds you’d otherwise have grown. A bought bonus starts from a clean tally, so the organic route into the round is the one that rewards the patient.

Our Honest Verdict

This is a slot you play for the climb, not the castle at the top. Sessions rarely go quiet for long, because something is always swelling beneath the reels or honking into a multiplier, and the golden wild tally gives every spin between bonuses a job to do. That’s the draw: the base game is the whole show.

Its strength is the free spins round paying you back for that patience, stored gold raining onto random positions until the screen fills. Its weakness is the Giant, who adds rows that often connect with nothing, a spectacle that doesn’t always pay for itself. The multiplier resetting unused stings too.

It suits players after charm and depth without complication, medium-volatility pacing, and the satisfaction of building something before spending it. For a relaxed session that still keeps you busy, this fairytale rewards the read.
