Blood Hoppers Slot Review
Cartoon fleas, drawn bright and just grubby enough to make you wince, carry the entire look of Blood Hoppers. This is horror played for laughs rather than dread, and the reels are a good deal more colourful than the subject matter has any right to be.
The maths underneath is more serious. The in-game information screen gives a standard RTP of 96.29%, with the booster configurations running between 96.19% and 96.44%, and it’s a High volatility 5×5 grid over 20 fixed paylines that tops out at 25,000x your stake.
That’s a serious ceiling for 7Rings Gaming, a small studio whose catalogue leans towards the odd and the cartoonish rather than the polished.
Their Necro Party works the same cartoon-horror seam, and Bar of Fate sits in a similar bracket.
Anyone who’s spent time with Mouse Ananza will recognise the studio’s fondness for putting small unwelcome creatures on the reels. Whether there’s enough in this particular infestation to keep you scratching at it is the question.
Base Game & Features
Blood Hoppers runs on a 5×5 grid with 20 paylines, and those lines are fixed. There’s no selector to drop down to fewer of them, so every spin is evaluated across all 20 whether you like it or not. Stakes run from 0.20 to 100 per spin.
Scatters are the only route into the Bonus Game, and the Flea Wilds are what give the base game its teeth between triggers.

Flea Wilds
Three Fleas handle the Wild duties, and they aren’t interchangeable. The Blue Flea substitutes as a plain Wild with nothing attached to it. The Red Flea carries an x2 multiplier, and that multiplier applies to every winning line on the spin rather than only the line it happens to sit on. The Black Flea is the same idea scaled up, starting at x3 or higher and applying across all winning lines in the same way.
All three substitute for other symbols on winning paylines, so a Flea landing in a useful position does two jobs at once. The Black Flea’s multiplier isn’t capped at its starting value either, though it only grows inside the Bonus Game.
Leaderboard
A multi-tab Leaderboard window sits alongside the game, filtered across 10 minutes, 1 hour, 24 hours and 7 days. Hot as Hell lists the highest-RTP games, Cold as Ice the lowest, Most Popular ranks by sessions or bets, and Game Winners and All Games Winners cover the biggest results in this title and across the studio’s range. It’s decorative, and nothing in it changes what the reels do.
Blood Hoppers Free Spins
Three or more Scatters open the Bonus Game, which awards seven free spins. The count that triggered it decides how big the Magnifying Glass starts: 2×2 from three Scatters, 3×3 from four, and 4×4 from five.
The Magnifying Glass
Each spin of the bonus drops the Magnifying Glass onto a random position on the grid. Land it over a Flea and that Flea is burned into place, staying sticky for the remainder of the round with its multiplier intact. Land the Glass over the same sticky Flea again and that multiplier climbs by x1.
Land it over a Scatter instead and the Glass levels up, growing by 1×1 and covering more of the grid on every spin that follows. Once it reaches its maximum 4×4 size, further Scatters award an extra spin rather than more size, which is the only way to extend the round.

Bonus Buy Options
Four options sit in the buy menu, each carrying its own RTP configuration. Game Booster is the odd one out, in that it disables every other buy option while it’s running.
- FS Booster 5x – multiplies the chance of Bonus Game activators landing by x5. RTP 96.42%.
- Game Booster – boosts the game’s features and Scatter frequency on the playing field, disabling the other buys while active. RTP 96.19%.
- Spot Shot – guarantees three Scatters and launches the Bonus Game with a 2×2 Magnifying Glass. RTP 96.34%.
- Catch Em All – guarantees four Scatters and starts the Magnifying Glass at 3×3, still able to grow to 4×4 in play. RTP 96.44%.

Spot Shot buys the minimum version of the round. You get the trigger, but the Glass starts at its smallest and has the furthest to climb before it covers anything meaningful.

Catch Em All skips that stage. Starting at 3×3 leaves only one Scatter’s worth of levelling before the Glass is sweeping a 4×4 block of the grid, which is where the sticky Fleas start to accumulate quickly.

Game Booster is the one that keeps you in the base game rather than handing over a trigger, raising feature activity and the rate at which activators land on the reels.

Our Honest Verdict
Overall Rating: 7/10
The base game moves along at a decent clip, but most of what it pays is small, and it’s the Red and Black Fleas landing somewhere useful that give a quiet spin any weight at all. Turbo Mode stops the flat stretches dragging.
The bonus opens slowly and improves as it runs. Ours started at 2×2 and did nothing for two spins, then burned a Red Flea sticky, grew to 3×3 off a Scatter, and caught a Black Flea that climbed from 4x to 5x. The closing spins linked both sticky Fleas on one line, which was the mechanic at its best. Catch Em All began larger and produced the strongest result of the session; Spot Shot was ordinary by comparison.
A 25,000x ceiling is generous without being outlandish. This one’s for High volatility players who enjoy watching a multiplier build, and it’ll frustrate anyone who needs a busy base game. The grubby little fleas earn their place: it’s a strange game, and it grows on you much the way its multipliers do.
