Booze Bash Slot Review
The neon lights flicker, casting shadows in all the right places, and the jukebox plays a soulful jazz track. With a tight grip over the shaker, one flick of the wrist, a shake, a spin, and it’s time to get your drink on!
Booze Bash from Hacksaw Gaming stirs up trouble, where every round is an opportunity to drink up to 12,500x your bet. Whether you’re stockpiling the bar with Bobby Bourbon, downing shots with Teddy Tequila, or drinking with the devil, there’s no telling where the night might take you.
The black & white backdrop and devilish theme are reminiscent of Pray For Three, while the posters behind the bar take us down the path of Donny Dough and SixSixSix. Without further ado, it’s time for a cheeky nightcap or two in Booze Bash.
Operating a fixed RTP of 96.31% (with lower variants available) and a 4/5 rated volatility, Booze Bash whips up an exotic max win cap of 12,500x your bet.

Base Game & Features
Consisting of 6 reels and 4 rows, wins are created when two halves of the same paytable symbol match up on the reels, of which there are 14 in total (excluding Wilds).
The 14 high and low-paying symbols consist of A, K, Q, J, & 10 Card Suits, while the remaining symbols fall to Hottie Shot, Ginny Tonic, Penny Colada, Marg Arita, Mary Tini, plus individual 250x, 500x, 1,000x, and Max Win values.
When two matching halves of the same symbol come together, they award a fixed cash prize between 0.5x and 12,500x your bet. Lastly, when the two Wild symbol halves pair, they award a separate cash prize of 1,000x your bet.

Match 2 Win
As mentioned above, the game consists of 14 symbols, split into two halves, on the left and right-hand side of the reel set. When two halves of the same symbol align, it will create a winning pair. Please note that matching pairs can only occur on reels 1-2, 3-4, or 5-6.
Multiplier Pairs
In addition to regular symbols, the game introduces Multiplier symbols of x2, x3, x4, x5, x10, x15, and x20. The position marked with an ‘X’ appears on the left side of the reel set, while the value half appears on the rightmost side.
When a Multiplier Pair hits, it will act as a Global Multiplier, which applies to all winning pairs for that spin. If several multiplier pairs appear in the same spin, their values are multiplied before being applied to all wins.
As mentioned previously, Wild symbols appear as half symbols, which come together to produce a payout of 1,000x your bet. In addition, both halves will convert to a matching symbol to create a winning pair. Please note that Wilds cannot form a winning pair with FS or Multiplier halves.

Featurespins & Bonus Buy
Where applicable, players outside the UK jurisdiction can access a number of Featurespins/Bonus Buy options:
- Bonushunt Featurespins: Each spin has an increased chance (5 times more likely) to trigger a Free Spins mode for 3x your bet per spin (RTP 96.31%)
- Guilty As Gin: Awards 10 Free Spins with enhanced features for 100x your bet (RTP 96.28%)
- Top-Shelf Trouble: Awards 10 Free Spins with an additional Bash Bar row for 200x your bet (RTP 96.24%)
The third Free Spins mode, Hell’s Happy Hour, is unavailable for purchase. Each of the above options is subject to a high volatility rating, while the RTP variants vary for each mode.
If you achieve the maximum win cap of 12,500x during a game mode, the current round will end, and the total amount is instantly applied to your balance.

Booze Bash Slot Free Spins
Providing more than 1 Free Spins mode in a release is a great way to engage players for longer. In true Hacksaw fashion, Booze Bash delivers not 1, but 3 unique Free Spins modes: Guilty As Gin, Top-Shelf Trouble, and Hell’s Happy Hour. To access any of these, you will need to land the following number of Scatter Pairs:
- 1 Scatter Pair: Triggers Guilty As Gin with 10 Free Spins
- 2 Scatter Pairs: Triggers Top-Shelf Trouble with 10 Free Spins
- 3 Scatter Pairs: Triggers Hell’s Happy Hour with 10 Free Spins
Guilty As Gin
This round maintains the same mechanics located in the base game, only with an increased chance of landing high-paying, multiplier, and wild symbols. Landing an additional Scatter Pair awards a further +2 Free Spins, respectively.
Top-Shelf Trouble
In the Top-Shelf Trouble mode, a special Bash Bar is added as an extra row to the top of the reel set. Once all regular payouts are collected, the Bash Bar will reveal a symbol for each reel, from left to right. The revealed symbol will either be a Dead or Paying symbol.
If a paying symbol is revealed and the matching half is present on the connecting reel, it will convert its position into the same symbol, creating a winning pair. Please note that Bash Bar wins will not occur on previous winning positions within the same spin.
Symbols converted by the Bash Bar are returned to their natural state once they create a winning pair. Another side note – wilds, scatters, and multipliers cannot land within the Bash Bar during this round, while active Global Multipliers will appear outside the reel set.
Landing an additional Scatter Pair will result in a retrigger of +2 Free Spins per pair.

Hell’s Happy Hour
This hidden epic bonus maintains the same mechanics found in Top-Shelf Toruble free spins. However, each special symbol can be revealed in the Bash Bar, including Scatters and Multipliers. These symbols will reveal first, followed by all remaining symbols from left to right.
Each multiplier revealed in the Bash Bar is applied to all wins in this area only. Lastly, wild symbols will automatically convert symbols in that reel to individual Wilds. Landing additional Scatter Pairs increments a further +2 Free Spins, respectively.
Our Honest Verdict
Providers draw inspiration from lots of places, including from other providers, from time to time. This one was unexpected and reminded us instantly of Red Tiger’s Piggy Bank Bills as soon as we spun the reels.
This method of gameplay is quite unusual, but not the most innovative we’ve seen. If we’re honest, we prefer classic symbols, but we certainly appreciate the quirkiness of it.
The base game gives you ample chances to get acquainted with the features without it feeling overwhelming, offering just enough to reel you into its unique persona, if unique is your thing.
It’s not Hacksaw Gaming’s usual bag, that’s for sure. The first free spins mode gives players a greater chance of landing the feature, which in itself isn’t mega exciting. A greater chance doesn’t mean guaranteed, after all.
The higher bonus rounds are much better because of the Bash Bar, and the Hell’s Happy Hour is even better than that, with special symbols thrown into the mix. Of course, you’re unlikely to see the higher features if you’re on UK shores, but perhaps with luck you’ll see them.
Statistically speaking, Booze Bash is a big thumbs up, with 12,500x as a max win, and a respectable RTP of 96.31%. This drops to 94.29%, which is likely the version UK players will get.
Overall, Booze Bash isn’t a Hacksaw masterpiece, but it’s an appreciated offering with something different to experience.
