Cash 40 Multiclover Slot Review
Giant four-leaf clovers press against the corners of the screen, blurred as though they’re closer to the camera than anything else, while green tendrils curl over the top of a lime-outlined reel window set deep in blue night. Cash 40 Multiclover spends more of its personality on that moonlit artwork than on its features, and I’d argue it’s the better half of the deal: the picture is doing work the paytable won’t. What’s underneath is a plainly built fruit machine whose one clever idea, multiplying wilds that stack into a single reel, has to carry everything the artwork can’t.
The game comes from 7777 gaming and runs on a 5×4 grid with 20 paylines, paying left to right when two or more matching symbols line up on consecutive reels. Return sits at 94.89% in total, jackpot contribution included. There’s no free spins round; the appeal is expanding wilds, a mystery jackpot and a gamble ladder. Whether that adds up to a lucky patch or a bare one is what follows.
Base Game & Features
Play is straightforward: 20 symbols are revealed on each spin, and a win needs two or more identical symbols forming a payline on consecutive reels from the left. The red 7 sits at the top of the pile and is the only symbol that pays for a pair. Below it, the fruit and lucky-charm symbols follow a gently sloping curve, with horseshoe and grapes sharing a tier and plum and orange sharing the one below that.
Symbol pays, as multiples of stake:
- 7 (red): 0.4x for two, 1.3x for three, 5x for four, 125x for five
- Horseshoe: 1x for three, 2.5x for four, 12.5x for five
- Grapes: 1x for three, 2.5x for four, 12.5x for five
- Watermelon: 0.5x for three, 1.3x for four, 5x for five
- Plum: 0.4x for three, 0.7x for four, 2.5x for five
- Orange: 0.4x for three, 0.7x for four, 2.5x for five
The gap between tiers is steep at the top and flat at the bottom. Five red 7s pay 125x, which is 10 times what five horseshoes or grapes return; meanwhile the plum and orange never leave small-change territory even at their best. Most of the steady drip of wins in a session comes from the lower half of that list.
The wild is the base game’s one real trick. Land a WILD on reels two, three or four and it expands to cover the whole reel. Stack more of them into a single reel and each expansion grows stronger:
- 1 WILD in a reel: expands vertically to cover the entire reel
- 2 WILDs in a reel: expand vertically with a x2 multiplier
- 3 WILDs in a reel: expand vertically with a x3 multiplier
- 4 WILDs in a reel: expand vertically with a x4 multiplier, the maximum possible in a single reel in one game round
Where more than one expanded wild with a multiplier takes part in the same winning line, the multiplier values are added together before they’re applied. A pair of x2 reels on a decent line suddenly pays x4, and an x2 beside an x3 pays x5. It’s a simple system with real teeth, and it’s the mechanic the whole game is built around.
Two convenience options round out the base game:
- Autoplay: place up to 200 bets automatically, one after the other, or select the infinity symbol to play until you press AUTOPLAY or another event that needs your input occurs
- Turbo Mode: spins are played consecutively, without pause, except for a brief display of a win
Neither changes what the game pays; they simply change how quickly you get through it. Autoplay stops on anything that needs a decision, so a jackpot trigger or a gamble prompt interrupts the run, while Turbo Mode strips the pauses out entirely and leaves only a brief flash on a win. On a game this gently paced, that’s no small consideration.
Cash 40 Multiclover Bonus Features
Juicy Cash Jackpot
Alongside the wilds, the game carries a mystery jackpot. It can fire at random after any bet is placed in the main game, with no symbol combination involved and nothing you can do to hurry it along. When it does, you select and reveal golden coins, each hiding a prize behind it.
It’s a meaningful part of the return, too. When the jackpot is active it increases the game’s theoretical return by up to 1.5%, which is a fair slice of a game running at 94.89% in total. The vertical ladder plaque beside the reels is a constant reminder of what’s hiding in the dark.
The Multiplier Game
Every win can be gambled. A GAMBLE button appears after a payout, offering a coin-flip on your money: call the colour of the coin correctly and the bet doubles, then you can pick another multiplier button or bank what you’ve built with the CASHOUT button, which adds the accumulated winnings to your account.
Call it wrong and the bet is gone, and the Multiplier Game ends on the spot. It’s the classic double-or-nothing ladder, and it’s the only way to press a win beyond what the reels gave you. The maximum win is 10,000x the bet.
How you treat that ladder is a bankroll decision more than a strategy one. Each flip is a straight fifty-fifty on everything you’ve stacked so far, and the game gives you the cash-out every step of the way. Chasing the top of the ladder means risking a win you already had, which suits some temperaments and not others.
The two features work on different clocks. The jackpot doesn’t care what you’re doing; it arrives when it arrives. The gamble, by contrast, is entirely in your hands, offered after every single win and declined simply by letting the reels carry on. Together they’re what stand in for a bonus round here, and neither offers the escalation a free spins feature would.
Our Honest Verdict
Overall Rating: 6.1/10
This is a quiet game. You spin, the clovers glow, small wins trickle in from the bottom of the paytable, and every so often a reel goes wild and the maths briefly wakes up. The reason to pick it is that artwork: a moonlit clover patch rendered with real care, doing more for the mood than any of the features manage.
The strength is the multiplying wilds, and it’s a genuine one. Because stacked wilds add their multipliers across a line, one lucky spin can outpay a long run of ordinary ones, which is more than most flat paytables ever offer. The weakness is everything else: no bonus round, a jackpot on no schedule you can influence, and a gamble that’s a coin flip dressed as a decision.
It’s for players who enjoy a pretty, unhurried fruit machine and don’t need a feature ladder to justify the time; anyone who wants escalation and retriggers will find nothing here to hold them. As a place to spend a slow half hour under the vines, though, it earns its patch.
Cash 40 Multiclover FAQs
-
How does the wild expansion work in Cash 40 Multiclover?
A WILD symbol landing on reels two, three or four expands vertically to cover the entire reel. Two wilds in one reel expand with a x2 multiplier, three give x3 and four give x4, with up to four wilds possible in a single reel per round. Where several expanded wilds with multipliers take part in one winning line, their multiplier values are added together and applied to the win. -
What is the Juicy Cash Jackpot?
It is a mystery jackpot that can trigger at random once a bet has been placed in the main game, without any symbol combination being needed. Once active, you pick and reveal golden coins with prizes hidden behind them, and the jackpot adds up to 1.5% to the theoretical return while it is running. -
How does the Multiplier Game gamble work?
Every win can be gambled via the GAMBLE button. Call the colour of the coin correctly and the bet doubles, after which you can pick another multiplier button or press CASHOUT to bank the accumulated winnings. A wrong call loses the bet and ends the Multiplier Game. -
Do multipliers from multiple expanded wilds stack?
Yes, but by addition rather than multiplication. If more than one expanded WILD symbol carrying a multiplier forms part of the same winning line, the multiplier values are added together first and the total is then applied to the win, so an x2 reel and an x3 reel on one line pay x5. -
Does Cash 40 Multiclover have a free spins round?
No. The features are the expanding WILD symbols with their stacked multipliers, the random Juicy Cash mystery jackpot and the post-win Multiplier Game gamble. There is no free spins or bonus spins mode. -
What is the RTP of Cash 40 Multiclover?
The RTP is 94.89%. That is the total expected return, jackpot contribution included. -
How many paylines does Cash 40 Multiclover have?
The game reveals 20 symbols per spin, with wins formed when two or more identical symbols make a payline on consecutive reels starting from the leftmost reel. -
When is Cash 40 Multiclover released?
