Conclusion
Hacksaw Gaming has gotten creative once again, as they revert to their dark side in Cursed Crypt. Egyptians are by far the most common choice of theme in slots, and a lot like Marmite…you either love it or hate it. Although listed as a con in our review, we can’t deny that Hacksaw Gaming create a stunning display in their games.
Cursed Crypt is the first Hacksaw title to go against their usual practices, with a lack of Multipliers. Hacksaw Gaming took a risk when choosing to leave them out of Cursed Crypt, but did it pay off?
Without multipliers, it falls to the Cursed Reels feature to win players over. Each time a cursed symbol hits, it travels upwards, replacing all cursed positions with another High or Low-paying symbol. This is a great way to create or enhance wins on the reels, although you’d benefit from cursed symbols starting at the bottom of the reel.
More of the same can be had in the Wrath of Sobek Free Spins round, with an increased chance of landing cursed symbols. Naturally, Hacksaw Gaming have included an improved free spins round (Tomb of Tutankhamun), triggered by landing 4 FS Scatters.
