Dyna’Mike BoosterBelt Slot Review
The gold is never the joke in a cartoon mine. The fuse is, and so is whoever’s daft enough to be holding it. Dyna’Mike BoosterBelt puts that character on the outside of the reels and sets him walking. It’s a 5×5 cave paying up to 3,125 ways, with a 96.32% RTP that slips to 96.25% if you buy the cheaper of its two bonuses. Volatility is high, stakes run from 0.10 to 50.00, and a single round is capped at 15,000x.
The BoosterBelt itself isn’t new to Aloha Gaming. It’s the same outer-reel contraption from their tiki-themed release, dropped into a mineshaft and handed to a miner with a short temper, and it sits in the same Fruitzens stable. Anyone who played Tikitopia BoosterBelt will recognise the frame. The chain-reaction mining structure will ring bells for Fire in the Hole 2 players, and the way one reveal can redraw a whole board owes something to Reactoonz.
That belt is the first thing you notice and the first thing to be suspicious of, because plenty of slots bolt something decorative around the edge of the reels and bill it as a feature. So is Mike doing work out there, or is he just going for a walk?
Base Game and Features
Play runs on a 5×5 array set inside a mining cave, with wins paid as ways rather than lines. Every winning combination starts a cascade: winners are removed, new symbols drop in, and the sequence continues until a spin stops producing wins or booms.
All the rock-type symbols in the cave are face-down Mystery Blocks, which makes the board considerably less readable than a plain 5×5 grid. Nothing underneath them is visible until something blows them open.

The BoosterBelt and BoomStations
The BoosterBelt is the C-shape wrapped around the array, running along the top row, down the leftmost reel and back along the bottom. It carries its own anti-clockwise stream of symbols, so a second flow of activity moves against the drops in the middle.
Three BoomStations sit on that belt, at the top left, bottom left and bottom right corners. Mike rides the belt carrying one, two or three sticks of dynamite, and arriving at a BoomStation detonates him.
A boom event wipes out every regular symbol in the cave, special symbols excepted, and turns over the Mystery Blocks underneath. Each detonation costs Mike one stick, so a three-stick Mike can set off three separate booms across a single cascade sequence.
Mystery Blocks, Wilds and Nuggets
A revealed Mystery Block can turn out to be a Wild, a Diamond Wild, a Nugget, a Free Spins scatter or an Extra Spins symbol. Standard Wilds substitute for everything except the Nugget, Free Spins and Extra Spins symbols.
Diamond Wilds substitute as well, and multiply any ways win they contribute to by 2x, 3x or 5x. Where more than one Diamond Wild feeds the same win, the multipliers are added together first and the total is applied once.
Nuggets are instant cash reveals in three grades:
- Copper Nugget: 5x or 10x the bet
- Silver Nugget: 25x or 50x the bet
- Gold Nugget: 100x or 1,000x the bet
Bonus Features and Free Spins
Three or more Free Spins scatters landing in the cave during a single spin or cascade sequence open the round. They can arrive on the drop or be turned over from a Mystery Block mid-boom. Three scatters award 10 free spins; four award 20.

Nothing is switched off for the round. The belt keeps turning, Mike keeps carrying dynamite, the BoomStations still detonate and the Mystery Blocks still hide the same five outcomes. Cascades work exactly as they do in the base game.

Extra Spins symbols are the one addition. Revealed from a Mystery Block during the round, each one adds a single free spin on the spot. The 20-spin version is the same round with twice the runway rather than an extra layer of features.

Bonus Buy
Both rounds can be bought outright, and the two purchases correspond to the natural three-scatter and four-scatter triggers rather than to bespoke feature versions.
- Here Comes the Boom! costs 100x stake for 10 free spins, and runs at 96.25% RTP
- Blastageddon! costs 250x stake for 20 free spins, and runs at 96.32% RTP

Our Honest Verdict
Base play is busier than it is generous. Small wins keep the cave moving and the belt gives you a second thing to watch, but plenty of those wins are scaffolding rather than payment, and judging a spin on its first hit sells it short.
The bonus is the base game with more room, not a separate mode. Ten spins can be gone before Mike does anything useful; twenty gave the mechanics time to build, and our best Nugget reveal in a short demo session was a 100x Gold.
The high point was a three-stick Mike detonating twice more inside one long cascade, the spin finishing somewhere the opening screen never suggested. The 15,000x ceiling stays theoretical, but you can see the route to it.
Everything hangs on the belt, the BoomStations and the cascades feeding each other. When they do, it’s excellent. When Mike stays out of it, the fuse just burns down to nothing. Worth your time if you like interconnected cascade slots and watching a feature physically travel; skip it if you want clean reels.
