Easter Frog Dice Slot Review
A frog in bunny ears sits on a stone beside a sunny pond, reeds leaning in from the right and pink lilies drifting past the reels. Easter Frog Dice wears that costume well, but it isn’t really an Easter slot at all: it’s a cascade game wearing one, and a better-built cascade game than most seasonal reskins deserve. Pastel paint doesn’t usually come with a multiplier that climbs every drop.
Amusnet have built this one on a 5×3 grid with 20 fixed paylines, rated mid volatility, and the Toppling Reels system does the heavy lifting rather than a free spins round. Its RTP is quoted at 96.03%.
Fans of the studio’s catalogue will find familiar bones here, as in 40 Lucky Wilds Hot Coin Boost and Majestic Forest Buy Bonus.
Symbols and Pays
Wins pay left to right on adjacent reels across the 20 fixed lines, with scatters the one exception. Line wins multiply by the bet per line; scatter wins multiply by the total bet. Only the highest combination on each line counts.
It’s a straightforward structure, and the game caps the cascading at ten wins per bet, which matters more than the line count does. The symbol set is eleven strong, mixing Easter trinkets with coloured dice, and the values below are multiples of the total bet:
- Red Egg – 0.25x for two, 1.25x for three, 7.5x for four, 150x for five
- Green Bunny – 1x for three, 3.75x for four, 12.5x for five
- Blue Watering Can – 1x for three, 3.75x for four, 12.5x for five
- Orange/Blue Dice – 0.5x for three, 2.5x for four, 7.5x for five
- Red/Green Dice – 0.25x for three, 1.25x for four, 3.75x for five
- Purple/Cyan Dice – 0.25x for three, 0.75x for four, 2.5x for five
- Scatter (Lotus/Chick) – 5x for three, 50x for four, 500x for five, added to payline wins
Notice the shape of it: the Red Egg is the only symbol that pays for a two-symbol match, so it’s the one that keeps single-line ticks ticking over. The scatter is the richest symbol on the reels at 500x the total bet for five, and it pays from any position because it doesn’t need adjacent reels.
The wild is the frog itself, and it lands only on reels two, three and four. It expands to fill its whole reel the first time it appears and substitutes for everything except the scatter. If it survives a cascade it stays put without expanding again, so its value comes from timing rather than persistence.
Toppling Reels
This is the engine of the game. After any winning combination in the base game, prizes are paid and every winning symbol disappears. The symbols above drop into the empty positions, and anything new that forms gets paid too.
Those new wins don’t pay at face value. Each one after a cascade is multiplied by a Toppling Reels multiplier that starts at x2 and climbs by one with every consecutive cascade. The sequence runs until no new win forms, and the game allows up to ten cascades on a single bet.
A modest opening win can snowball into something far larger by the fourth or fifth drop. The bottom of the paytable is small enough that the multiplier does real work in lifting it: a three-symbol dice win at 0.25x becomes 0.5x on the first cascade and 0.75x on the second. The top of that ladder is where the game’s real potential sits, and it’s a long way from the opening combination.
An expanded wild that stays on screen through a cascade changes the arithmetic again. A full wild reel on the third reel, landing alongside a top-tier symbol, can produce back-to-back combinations on consecutive drops at x2 and then x3. That’s the specific setup the cascade cap of ten exists to serve.
Jackpot Cards
Jackpot Cards is a four-level progressive feature that can trigger at random after any finished spin, once winnings have been collected. It plays on top of the base game without ending it, and autoplay pauses and resumes around it automatically.
The four levels are illustrated by card suits, climbing from club at the lowest through diamond and heart to spade at the top:
- Clubs – first level, lowest value
- Diamonds – second level
- Hearts – third level
- Spades – fourth and highest level
Contributions to each level come from a percentage of each bet, with nothing deducted from the stake itself. Qualifying bets run from 5.00 to 50,000. Each level’s current value sits beside its suit symbol, so you always know what each pot is worth before you pick.
When the feature fires, you’re taken to a field of twelve face-down cards and pick until three matching suits appear. The level awarded matches the suit revealed, and the amount banked is whatever the pot held when the third card turned over. Every entry carries a random chance at any of the four levels, so a big stake doesn’t buy a better suit.
Winnings from this round can’t be carried into the Gamble feature, and the feature recovers cleanly after a disconnection. When anyone at the tables wins a Jackpot Cards prize, every player in the feature sees a notification on their screen.
Gamble Round
Any win up to 7.00 can be gambled. Press the Gamble button and call red or black on the next card; a correct call doubles the amount, a wrong one ends the game and takes the stake with it. The card sequence is random, so history offers no help.
The number of attempts is fixed per game, between one and five depending on the settings applied. Each correct guess brings a fresh face-down card, and the last five results sit in a history row. Collecting at any point banks whatever’s in the win field. It’s a standard double-or-nothing, useful for turning small cascade wins into something worth having.
Our Honest Verdict
Overall Rating: 6.9/10
Sessions here are quick and tidy. Spin, win, watch the symbols drop, and hope the chain doesn’t stop at two. The reason to pick this pond over the usual springtime crop is that the multiplier keeps climbing while the seasonal paint stays charming rather than cloying.
The best thing about it is how the multiplier rescues the bottom of the paytable: dice wins that look like loose change on the first drop start mattering by the third. The worst is that beyond the cascades there’s genuinely nothing else – no free spins, no feature to save up for, just the occasional Jackpot Cards drop from nowhere.
This is one for cascade players who enjoy the build and don’t miss a bonus round; players who want a destination to aim at will find the pond a little shallow. For the right person, though, the frog’s one trick is a good one.
Easter Frog Dice FAQs
-
How does the Toppling Reels feature work in Easter Frog Dice?
After any base game win, the winning symbols disappear and the symbols above drop down. New wins formed this way are multiplied by a Toppling Reels multiplier starting at x2 and increasing by one with each consecutive cascade, up to a maximum of ten cascades per bet. -
How is the Jackpot Cards feature triggered?
Jackpot Cards triggers at random after a finished spin, once all winnings have been collected. You then pick from twelve face-down cards until three matching suits appear, and the corresponding jackpot level is guaranteed. -
What does the wild symbol do in Easter Frog Dice?
The frog wild appears on reels two, three and four, expands to fill its entire reel the first time it lands, and substitutes for all symbols except the scatter. It does not expand again if it survives a cascade. -
Can you gamble your wins in Easter Frog Dice?
