Genie Jackpots Wishmaker Jackpot King Slot Review
A sultan’s tent in violet gloom, silk cushions strewn with loose gold coins, a brass lamp curled on the floor: every treasure in this room belongs to somebody, and the game never quite lets you forget whose. Genie Jackpots Wishmaker Jackpot King, from Blueprint Gaming, rarely lets a spin pass without something happening to it. Our take: that’s generosity rather than noise, because the bonus wheel and its gamble ladder put a real decision in your hands.
It runs on a 5×4 grid with 20 paylines, and the biggest fixed prize is the 1,000x total bet waiting in the Big Money round, with three live jackpot meters above it. That’s a lot of wishes for one lamp to grant.
How the Base Game Pays
Wins form the traditional way: matching symbols on a played payline, running left to right across consecutive reels. All wins across different lines are combined into the total, and only the highest combination counts on each line. Scatter wins are added on top of any line wins.
The wild substitutes for every symbol except the Bonus scatter, and it pays at the top symbol’s rate when it forms its own lines. Several wild types appear across the game, including the Genie Wild, Monkey Wild, Reel Wild and Multiplying Wild.
Each does the same substitution job, just in service of different features. All symbol values below are multiples of the total bet:
- Genie Wishmaker Super Stacked: 2x for two, 40x for three, 100x for four, 500x for five
- Crossed Swords: 20x for three, 80x for four, 300x for five
- Treasure Bag and Jewels: 10x for three, 60x for four, 200x for five
- A: 8x for three, 40x for four, 100x for five
- Q and J: 4x for three, 10x for four, 50x for five
The top symbol pays from just two on a line, which is unusual, but even a full line of them returns 500x the total bet. The royals are where most of the routine wins come from, and they’re modest: five Qs or Js pays 50x.
That leaves the features to do the heavy lifting, which is clearly the design intent. Line wins are multiplied by the value bet on the winning line, and the stake you choose comes from a list of operator-configured options. The game credits wins to your balance as the winning lines are highlighted, so there’s nothing to bank manually.
Wishmaker Modifiers
The base game isn’t left to spin on its own. Wishmaker Modifiers can trigger randomly on any spin, and they range from a helping nudge to a full reel overhaul. There’s no countdown, no collection meter – one spin is ordinary, the next has a colossal genie looming over the reels.
The headline example is Infectious Monkey Wilds. Wilds land on the next reel spin and then spread at random to nearby reel positions, which can turn a quiet spin into a cluster of wilds across the middle rows. The full roster runs to seven:
- Colossal Genie
- Genie Win Spin
- Mystery Wishes
- Genie Wilds
- Genie Streak
- Infectious Monkey Wilds
- Bonus Boost
The Genie’s Wishmaker Bonus
Three or more Bonus scatter symbols anywhere on the reels open the Genie’s Wishmaker Bonus. A wheel spin then awards one of six bonus rounds. The six destinations on the wheel are:
- Sultan’s Jewels Bonus
- Magic Carpet Bonus
- Lucky Wishes Cash Spins
- Golden Touch Free Spins
- Genie’s Wild Storm Free Spins
- Big Money Bonus
The gamble mechanic is what makes the wheel interesting. You can gamble the wheel result all the way to the Big Money Bonus.
How far you push is your own call, and it’s the one genuine decision the game hands you.
Big Money sits at the summit as the round where the game’s top fixed prize lives, and it’s the prize the whole wheel is arranged around.
Jackpot King Deluxe
Like every game in the Jackpot King family, this one carries the Deluxe jackpot system, and it can activate at random during any spin. Three jackpot meters sit at the top of the screen and tick up live as you play.
Once triggered, the round runs in stages. First you spin to collect crowns, and more crowns mean a bigger total bet multiplier. You then pick from the King’s Treasure to increase your prize further, and finally you can enter the Wheel King for a shot at the progressive pots themselves.
It’s a system Blueprint has run across dozens of titles, and it works the same way here. You can’t chase it, and you can’t buy your way in. It arrives or it doesn’t.
Our Honest Verdict
Overall Rating: 7.2/10
Mostly you’re spinning inside that lamp-lit tent waiting for the scatters, and the reason to be here rather than at a cleaner five-reeler is the wheel: six possible rounds and a gamble ladder that asks how brave you’re feeling. It gives the game a pulse most of its competitors borrow from a bonus buy instead.
The best thing in it is the base game. Seven random modifiers mean even the waiting stretches can turn into something, and the Infectious Monkey Wilds in particular can flip an ordinary spin completely. The weakness is the paytable: a 1,000x ceiling on the fixed prizes is thin for a game this elaborate, and the progressive pots you can’t chase or time are asked to carry everything above it.
If you want one deep mechanic done beautifully, this isn’t that slot and doesn’t try to be. For players who like something happening on nearly every spin and don’t mind a modest fixed ceiling for the chance at a meter, the tent’s open and the lamp’s already lit.
