Loki Power Combo Slot Review
Loki Power Combo puts almost everything it pays through one cell in the middle of the third reel, and that’s a stranger way to build a slot than the Norse pageantry around it suggests. A bearded stone giant watches the reels from the right while a rainbow path glows up out of the mist towards a fortress half-lost in lilac cloud, but the money doesn’t live in the scenery. It lives in money symbols that only pay when Loki lands on his single spot to sweep them. Just For The Win run it on a 5×3, 20-line grid at 96.05% RTP, very high volatility, with a 29.75% hit frequency.
It’s the latest run of the Power Combo format, following Dark Waters Power Combo and Stellar Jewels Power Combo, both 2026 reviews on this family of games, with Amazing Catch Power Combo another close relative. Stakes run from 0.20 to 50.00 per spin. The trick of the format is that its bonus round is never the same game twice.
Base Game & Features
Wins pay left to right on adjacent reels, and only the highest win per line counts. Simultaneous wins on different lines add together. The Loki symbol is wild and substitutes for everything except money and token symbols, always paying the best combination available on the line.
The board is 5 columns by 3 rows, 15 positions in total, with wins evaluated across 20 fixed lines. The rest of the base game belongs to two special symbols. Money symbols carry cash values, and the Loki symbol collects them. A spin either pays a line win, pays a collect, or pays nothing at all – and it can do both at once: a line win through the wild, and a collect of every money symbol on the board.
Money Symbols
Money symbols land anywhere on the reels except the centre position of the third column, and each carries a random value or prize:
- 0.5x the bet
- 1x the bet
- 1.5x the bet
- 2x the bet
- 2.5x the bet
- 3x the bet
- 4x the bet
- MINI prize – 5x the bet
- MINOR prize – 20x the bet
- MAJOR prize – 100x the bet
- MEGA prize – 1,000x the bet
The MEGA prize can only be awarded once in a game round, so the top of the ladder is a one-shot. Money symbols never pay as part of a line win; they only ever pay through the collect. That gives the seven cash values one job and the four prizes another, and a board carrying a MAJOR prize pays exactly the same whether it sits next to a 4x cash symbol or not.
Loki Collect
Loki only appears on the centre position of the third column, so the collect depends entirely on one cell. When he lands, every money symbol on the same spin has its value added up and paid. If two Loki symbols land, every money symbol pays twice.
In the base game that second Loki can’t happen, because there’s only one cell he can occupy. Two Lokis are a free-spins scenario, and only with the Extra feature running. In the base game, the collect is a single symbol on a single reel position, nothing more.
Tokens also land on every reel, building towards free spins, but they don’t collect in any meaningful way. The collection pots beside the reels are pure show and have no effect on the odds of triggering anything. A token’s value is in the landing, not the accumulating.
Loki Power Combo Free Spins & Power Combo Features
Free Spins Trigger
There’s no scatter. Three token symbols sit on all reels in both the base game and free spins, each representing one of the features: Multiplier, Sticky and Extra. Every time a token lands there’s a chance it triggers free spins. That chance exists on every single token, not on a completed meter.
If two or three different tokens land and trigger together, all of those features run in the same round. That’s where the format earns its name: one, two or three active features means genuinely different bonus rounds from the same machine. A single-token trigger plays the modest version; a three-token trigger plays everything at once.
Free spins always start with six. Inside the round, any non-active token that lands can trigger its feature, awarding three extra spins. Only one new feature can activate per spin, and tokens for features already running stop appearing, so a two-feature round can still grow into a three-feature one before it ends.
Multiplier Feature
With the Multiplier token active, Loki carries a multiplier of x2, x3, x4 or x5. Any win containing a Loki symbol is multiplied by it. Money symbols carrying a +1 Spin are exempt and don’t multiply.
Two Lokis make it interesting. A line win containing both multiplies by the sum of the two, so a x3 and a x5 pays x8. A collect win with two Lokis is nastier still: the collected total multiplies by each Loki individually. On a big collect, that’s the difference between a doubled payout and a multiplied one.
Sticky Feature
The Sticky feature is the blunt one. Loki is guaranteed on every single spin, which turns the round into a chain of collects. Every money symbol that lands gets swept, every time. It’s the only version of the round where the collect isn’t a matter of chance at all.
Extra Feature
Extra moves the goalposts. Loki can now land on the centre positions of columns 2 and 4 instead of the third column, and money symbols are barred from those same two cells. Two collect points replace one, and a double Loki round becomes a live possibility.
Extra is also the feature that makes the Multiplier arithmetic bite. Under the base rules a second Loki never exists, so the summed line-win multipliers and the individually multiplied collect only become reachable once Extra opens up that second cell. On their own, either feature is decent. Together, they’re the round worth waiting for.
In free spins, money symbols can also carry a +1 Spin instead of a value, so the round can keep feeding itself. Those +1 Spin symbols don’t multiply under the Multiplier feature, but they do stack with the +3 awarded for triggering a new feature mid-round, which is how a six-spin round stretches out.
Our Honest Verdict
Overall Rating: 7/10
Most of a session here is watching a mountain get misty. Money symbols land, sit there unpaid, and vanish; the line wins that do arrive are small; and the whole base game hangs on one cell in the middle of reel three. That’s the game, and the one reason to sit through it is the round at the end, because the Norse dressing isn’t what anyone came for.
The strength is variety. A Sticky round and an Extra round barely resemble each other, and a combined round where two Lokis each multiply the same collect is where this format pays properly. The weakness is the ceiling: the ladder tops out at a 1,000x MEGA that pays once per round, and below it there’s a long fall to 100x, so most rounds finish modest and only one shape of win is big.
This one suits collectors and patient bonus hunters who enjoy a round that changes shape depending on which tokens fired. Players who want the reels themselves to do the entertaining will find the fog rolls in early on this mountain. For those happy to wait out the mist, the fortress at the top is worth the climb.
