Lucky Charms Trio 10,000 Slot Review
A leprechaun’s front garden takes up most of the screen: a fat tree with a little red arched door set into its trunk, a lantern glowing in the wood, toadstools clustered at its roots and a snow-capped peak behind the reels. It’s a scene so familiar it barely registers anymore, and Booming Games haven’t tried to freshen it up.
That’s the correct call, because the charm here isn’t in the dressing. Three pots decide everything, and Lucky Charms Trio 10,000 is really seven different bonus games wearing one outfit, each one built from whichever pots happened to land.
The game runs on a 5×3 grid with 20 fixed paylines, and the RTP is 95.40%. It sits in the studio’s catalogue alongside Mr. Oinkster’s Hold & Win 10,000 and Boomstick Blast: Link and Loot, both of which share its coin-collecting instincts.
Base Game & Features
The base game is a straightforward affair. Wins pay left to right across those 20 fixed lines, with only the highest combination on each line counting. There’s no way to reduce the payline count, so every spin covers the full grid.
Mystery Symbol
The one base game modifier is the Mystery Symbol. It can land partially or completely on any of the five reels, and whatever positions it settles on, they all flip to a single matching symbol at the end of the spin.
It can turn into any regular symbol in the game, with a single exception: the Boost, Multiply and Collect pot symbols are off the menu. It’s a familiar device, and it does its job without fuss.
The Three Pots
What gives the game its name is the trio of pots: Boost, Multiply and Collect. Their icons sit above the reels and light up when they appear on a spin. Landing one or more of them gives a chance to trigger the bonus game, and which pots are active when it fires determines everything about how that round plays out.
It’s a simple division of labour. Each pot has one job:
- Boost – makes prizes bigger, flipping repeatedly until it settles on a final value
- Multiply – scales prizes up by 2x to 5x
- Collect – sweeps every coin prize on the reels into one payout
One pot gives you one of those three jobs. Two pots combine them, and all three together give you the full sequence in a single round.
Lucky Charms Trio 10,000 Bonus Features
Every version of the bonus, whatever triggered it, opens on the same footing. Five coins carrying prizes are placed on the reels and held, and 3 respins are awarded. The held coins and any pot symbols stay fixed in position while every other position on the grid spins as its own individual reel.
The ground rules of a round are the same every time:
- Each new symbol that lands resets the respin count back to three
- A Grand Prize of 10,000x your bet can be won during the round
- The feature ends when the respins run out or the Grand Prize lands
From there, the shape of the round depends entirely on which pots triggered it:
- Boost alone – one Boost symbol sits with the five coins and flips over one or more times, revealing a bigger prize with each flip. When it stops, it becomes a coin showing that final prize. Multiple Boost symbols each determine a separate prize.
- Multiply alone – one Multiply symbol multiplies every prize on the five coins by a value between 2x and 5x, then becomes a coin carrying a prize itself.
- Collect alone – one Collect symbol gathers up all five coin prizes into itself, turning into a single coin worth the sum.
- Boost + Multiply – the Boost flips to a bigger prize and becomes a coin, then the Multiply scales all five coin prizes plus that boosted coin by 2x to 5x. Three respins apply.
- Boost + Collect – the Boost builds a bigger coin, then the Collect sweeps all five coin prizes and the boosted coin into one coin worth the total.
- Multiply + Collect – the Multiply scales the five coin prizes by 2x to 5x and becomes a coin, then the Collect adds up everything, including that multiplied coin, into a single summed prize.
- Boost + Multiply + Collect – the full sequence: Boost builds, Multiply scales, and Collect folds all five coins, the boosted coin and the multiplied coin into one final payout.
The single-pot rounds are small and clean. The combinations stack the operations on top of each other, so a three-pot trigger is chasing the same Grand Prize through a much longer chain of escalating prizes, with the respin resets stretching the round out in between.
Boost+ Side Bet
If waiting for the pots to land isn’t your idea of fun, there’s a side bet. Boost+ is toggled on or off during the base game, and switching it on costs you an extra 25% on every spin. In exchange, the bonus features become easier to trigger.
One detail matters: wins are evaluated against the base bet, not the boosted amount. The extra 25% buys trigger frequency and nothing else, so it’s worth weighing whether you’d rather chase the pots naturally or pay a premium for more shots at them.
Bonus Buy
The bonus can also simply be bought for 50x your bet, and a purchase guarantees the feature triggers. Availability may be limited where the total cost exceeds an operator’s or a market’s maximum bet rules, which is standard practice for buy features.
Our Honest Verdict
Overall Rating: 7.2/10
This is mostly a waiting game. You spin, a mystery symbol flips now and then, three little icons glow above the reels, and you wait for the door in the tree to open. The reason to sit through that is the round on the other side of it: no two triggers feel quite alike, and a three-pot round is a different experience entirely from a lonely Collect.
That bonus is the strength, and it’s a real one, built with actual imagination rather than a respin template. The weakness is everything around it. The base game is bare.
It’s a game for players who love coin-collection rounds and will forgive a dull stretch to reach them; anyone who wants an entertaining base game should look elsewhere. Behind that little red door is the best part of the garden. It’s just a shame the path to it is so plain.
