Piggy Staxx

Piggy Staxx Slot Review

Behind the reels of Piggy Staxx stands a grand domed bank, copper-green roof trimmed in gold, with a stone balcony in the foreground and a pink-and-gold banner over the top. Jelly Entertainment has built the whole slot inside that one building, and it holds together better than a pig theme usually does.

Here’s the arguable part: the paytable is close to irrelevant. Two walking wilds and a respin loop are the whole engine, and everything else is dressing. It runs at 95.96% RTP with high volatility on a 5×4 grid of 20 paylines, and the maximum win is 2,500x. What the two piggies can do together is the reason to load it at all.

Base Game & Features

It’s a 5×4 grid with 20 fixed paylines, and wins pay left to right on adjacent reels. The layout matters more than it usually would: four rows give the full-height Piggy Staxx symbols room to land and start walking, which is the game’s whole engine. Both Piggy Staxx symbols are wild, standing in for anything in the paytable. They do more than substitute, too: they’re the moving parts of the respin feature below.

Roughly one spin in four lands a win, at a stated hit rate of 26.07%. That’s not a generous pace for a high volatility game, and the size of those wins leans heavily on which symbols land rather than how often. Five royals at the bottom keep the small pays ticking over; the theme symbols above them are where a base game win starts to look like something.

The full symbol values, as multiples of stake:

• Diamond: 2.5x for three, 5x for four, 12.5x for five
• Piggy (small): 1.25x for three, 2.5x for four, 7.5x for five
• Watch: 1x for three, 2x for four, 5x for five
• Cash: 0.75x for three, 1.5x for four, 4x for five
• A, K: 0.5x for three, 1x for four, 2.5x for five
• Q, J, 10: 0.25x for three, 0.5x for four, 2x for five

Worth noticing in those numbers: the gap between the top and second symbol is narrow, so no single symbol towers over the rest. The real money in this game doesn’t come from any one line anyway. It comes from wilds and multipliers stacking through the features.

Piggy Staxx Respins

Any full Piggy Staxx symbol in view sets the respins off. The Male Piggy then shifts one reel to the left on each respin, while the Female Piggy shifts one reel to the right. The respins keep coming until no Piggy Staxx remains on the grid, so a wild parked on the outermost reel can walk itself right off the screen.

Run the sequence in your head and the shape of it becomes clear. A male landing on reel five walks left for four respins before disappearing; a female on reel one walks right the same way. Land both at once and they’re on a collision course, and each respin brings them a reel closer together.

The collisions are where it gets interesting. Each time the two wilds walk into one another, two counters move at once:

• The win multiplier increases by 1
• The free spins counter increases by 1

That means a respin sequence can build towards the bonus rather than just paying out and ending. Two restrictions apply: the bonus can’t be triggered directly during respins, and only a collision raises those counters, so respins that merely pay don’t advance anything.

Because both piggies are wild, every respin they survive is also a spin with at least one full-reel wild substitute in play. Wins during the sequence use the current multiplier, so a late collision is worth more than an early one. The best case is both wilds landing far apart with paytable symbols between them: more respins, more pays, and a collision that arrives at a higher multiplier when it finally comes.

Piggy Staxx Free Spins & Bonus Buys

Free Spins

Three Bonus symbols anywhere on the reels award six free spins, and each additional Bonus symbol in the triggering spin adds two more. That’s the whole award structure:

• 3 Bonus symbols: 6 free spins
• 4 Bonus symbols: 8 free spins
• 5 Bonus symbols: 10 free spins

The multiplier and spin counter built up through respin collisions carries into the round, which is what gives the walking wilds a purpose beyond their respin pays. Trigger the bonus cold, with no collisions banked, and it’s a plain six-spin round at the base multiplier. Arrive with a counter already stacked and the round starts doing real work.

That carry-over also changes what a respin sequence is for. A run of collisions that pays modestly on its own can still hand the bonus a multiplier worth several times the base, meaning the feature’s real payout may arrive a round later than the feature itself. It’s a two-stage design, and both stages are fed by the same piggies.

Piggy Bet

The Piggy Bet is a single toggle that lifts the stake by 25% in exchange for a better chance of triggering the bonus. The paytable and mechanics stay identical. In practice it lifts every rung of the stake ladder by a quarter, and the improved trigger odds are the only thing that extra buys.

Bonus Buy

For players who’d rather skip the wait, there’s a single buy option. It awards the free spins session directly and pays nothing extra on top:

• Free Spins: 100x bet, no additional winnings included

Note what the buy doesn’t do: it doesn’t come with any banked collisions, so a bought round starts at the base multiplier and the plain six-spin award unless Bonus symbols add more. The respin route into the bonus can be the richer one.

Our Honest Verdict

Overall Rating: 7/10

Playing Piggy Staxx is mostly waiting for two piggies to bump into each other, and that’s genuinely its charm: every respin sequence carries a second hope, that the walk ends in a collision and both counters jump. The respin loop feeding the bonus round is the best thing here, because a modest sequence can quietly hand the free spins a multiplier worth several times the base.

The rest of the game doesn’t pull its weight. The paytable tops out at 12.5x, the free spins award is six spins for three scatters, and a bought round arrives with nothing banked, which makes the 100x price hard to love.

It’s for players who enjoy a mechanic that builds slowly and pays off in stages, not for anyone chasing big line hits or a feature-stuffed bonus. If the idea of two wilds walking towards each other across a marble balcony sounds like fun, this bank is worth a visit.
