Our Honest Verdict
The base game is punishing, and there’s no dressing that up. Whole stretches passed with nothing developing, and a 6×6 grid gives you plenty of empty space to notice it in.
What saved the pacing was knowing an ordinary spin could still erupt once enough Donks were on the board. The bonus rounds earn their keep. Our regular Bonus finished around 70x in a short demo session, the Super Bonus roughly 230x, and that’s a genuine step up rather than one extra spin.
The best sequence we saw was an Ultra Smash rolling straight into an Angry Crush with the multiplier still climbing. Silver was the letdown: entertaining, but nowhere near its asking price. So, strength or distraction? Mostly strength.
