Premier Joker Cash Spree Slot Review
Ribbons of electric blue light curl around a floating cabinet, and a jester in a polished gold frame grins down at the reels. Premier Joker Cash Spree hides its real game behind that light show: the paylines are nearly irrelevant, and everything that matters happens in the cash symbols, the meters and the ladder above the reels.
That’s a bolder choice than it looks. It’s an Oros Gaming build on a 5×3 grid with 20 fixed paylines, running at 96.20% RTP with high volatility. Stakes run from 0.10 to 100, and the hit rate sits at 25.94%, so roughly one spin in four connects. The studio has already taken this engine through Cash Spree Gold and Cash Spree Triton, with Lucky Bonanza Cash Spree also in the family.
Base Game & Features
Line wins pay left to right across the 20 fixed paylines, starting from reel one, and only the highest combination counts per line. The paytable is modest at the top and flat at the bottom. That tells you early where this game expects its money to come from.
- 7 – four of a kind pays 1x, five pays 4x
- Strawberry – three pays 0.5x, four pays 1x, five pays 3x
- Cherries – three pays 0.3x, four pays 0.5x, five pays 1.5x
- Watermelon – three pays 0.2x, four pays 0.5x, five pays 1.5x
- A, K – three pays 0.1x, four pays 0.3x, five pays 0.9x
- Q, J, 10 – three pays 0.1x, four pays 0.2x, five pays 0.4x
The wild substitutes for everything except the Special, Wheel, Extra Spin and Free Spins symbols, and it can form its own winning line. It pays no cash value itself. It does have a second job, though, and that one matters far more: jackpots.
Cash Spree Symbols
Cash Spree symbols carry cash values and land on all five reels, with the bigger values stacked onto reels four and five. They pay left to right on adjacent reels starting from reels one and two, and anything they award is added on top of payline wins.
Two cash symbols early in the run can turn an otherwise dead spin into a payer. It’s a simple idea, and this game carries a lot of weight on it.
Jackpots
There are five jackpots, one displayed above each reel. A jackpot drops when a wild forms part of a winning five of a kind line combination, and the one you get is the one sitting above the reel carrying that wild. Each qualifying combination pays, so multiple lines with wilds can collect multiple jackpots on a single spin.
There’s a second route in. A wild above the reel in a winning five of a kind Cash Spree combination also claims its jackpot, so the same spin can feed the paylines, the cash run and the ladder at once.
Wheel Symbol & Multiplier Meter
Every Wheel symbol that lands in the base game does one of two things: it adds 0.5x to the multiplier meter, or it grants a chance at the Wheel Bonus. The multiplier climbs to a maximum of 10x, then resets to 1x once the Wheel Bonus has played out.
There are limits on where the symbol can show up. It can’t land on Free Spins or Extra Spin symbols, and it can’t appear on a spin that triggers Free Spins.
Premier Joker Cash Spree Free Spins & Wheel Bonus
Free Spins
Three Free Spins scatters on reels two, three and four trigger the round, paying 1x the total bet on the way in. You’re awarded whatever the Free Spins Meter holds at that moment: five spins as standard, up to fifteen if the Extra Spin feature has been feeding the meter.
Three more scatters retrigger the round for the same number of spins as the original trigger, and bets and lines stay locked to the triggering spin.
Special Symbols
The Free Spins round builds towards something, and Special Symbols are how it builds. They land on reel five only, and collecting them converts the premium symbols into Cash Spree symbols, permanently for the rest of the round:
- 3 collected – all High 1 symbols (7s) become Cash Spree symbols
- 6 collected – all High 2 symbols (Strawberries) convert
- 9 collected – all High 3 symbols (Cherries) convert
- 12 collected – all High 4 symbols (Watermelons) convert
The change happens on the spin that reaches the threshold and applies before that spin is evaluated, so the converting spin itself pays under the new rules. Special symbols never land on a wild.
Extra Spin Feature
In the base game, every Extra Spin symbol adds one spin to the Free Spins Meter, up to that fifteen-spin ceiling. It can’t appear alongside a Free Spins trigger, and once the round finishes the meter resets to five.
It’s a small thing that changes the shape of a session: the trigger is worth more the longer you’ve waited for it.
Wheel Bonus
The Wheel Bonus awards one spin of a wheel divided into wedges carrying the five prizes: Grand, Mega, Major, Minor and Mini. Whatever wedge the pointer stops on is yours, multiplied by the Wheel Multiplier you built up in the base game.
That’s the payoff for the whole meter routine: a patient 10x multiplier turns any wedge into something serious. The trigger comes via the Wheel symbol’s random chance, it can’t fire on the same spin as a Free Spins trigger, and bets stay as they were.
Our Honest Verdict
Overall Rating: 7.7/10
A session here feels less like spinning and more like bookkeeping, and that’s precisely its appeal: under the joker’s neon grin, some meter is always moving, so even a winless stretch feels like progress. The one reason to sit down at this cabinet is watching those totals climb.
The Special Symbol ladder is the smartest thing in it. A free spins round that survives to nine or twelve collected symbols stops being a payline game entirely, and a 10x wheel multiplier can multiply a prize you spent the whole base game earning. Set against that, the base paytable is thin to the point of decoration – four of a kind 7s pays 1x – so the early part of a session can feel like paying rent on a promise.
It’s built for players who enjoy the long build and judge a slot by how the round pays when it finally arrives. Anyone who wants regular line wins and frequent features will find the gaps long and the pays lean, and they’d be right to look elsewhere. The patient kind get a game where nothing collected is ever wasted.
