Primate Wild

More than your average Wild symbol, the Primate Wild is stacked and super. It covers the entire reels that it lands on in full view and can do so on reels 2, 3, 4 and 5. This means there are plenty of ways for this stacked Wild symbol to help you create winning combinations across the reels.

Every Wild holds a Multiplier of between 2x and 7x your winning payout. When it appears, the Primate Wild must form part of a winning combo, or it will freeze in place as the reels spin around it until it forms a win.

Conclusion

At face value, Primate King Megaways has a lot to offer players from all walks of life. It’s exciting, beautiful to look at, and even has a very subtle soundtrack that only ramps up when the winnings roll in. However, it was also a little confusing. 

This slot is rated by Red Tiger as a high-volatility game with a lower-than-average RTP of 95.67%, and yet, when we set out to experience this slot for ourselves, we were pleasantly surprised at how often wins landed. Every second or third spin had a low-grade win appear, even when playing on the max bet of £.€2.00. 

The frequency at which wins landed on the reels and the low value of the payouts make this slot feel more like a low-volatility game. While that’s not a bad thing, it was surprising. Coupled with the very low max bet, our biggest win during gameplay was only £.€30, and that was with a 9x Multiplier.

All in all, Primate King Megaways offers a max win rate of 30,000x, which sounds promising. It’s also a fun time with exciting bonus features, and the constant smaller wins make you feel like you’re constantly on the edge of your seat as the drums kick in.
