Queens of Ra: Coin Collect Slot Review
Queens of Ra: Coin Collect drapes its five reels in Egyptian gold and then quietly admits the paylines barely matter. A single gold Coin pays up to 50x your bet, more than any line win the reels can produce, and the wild can’t even touch the coin system – everything between bonus rounds is set dressing around the one game that actually pays.
It’s an All For One Studios build on a 5×3 grid with 20 fixed paylines, running at 96.15% RTP on medium volatility, with stakes from 0.20 to 12.50 and a hit frequency of 26.58%. Sisters Coin Collect: Piggy Patrons and Shark Pop: Coin Collect run the same template, and this one keeps the family maths while swapping the vault for the tomb.
Base Game & Features
The reels are five by three with 20 fixed paylines, and wins run left to right from the first reel. A payline is a pattern of adjacent symbol positions running across the reels, and the count can’t be adjusted. Where multiple combinations land on one line, only the highest pays. The total payout for a spin is the sum of all payline wins.
Wilds substitute for everything except the Coin and Collect symbols, and they appear in the base game only. That’s their whole story: helpful on the low and character symbols, locked out of the system that actually pays the big money.
The Coins and What They Pay
Gold, silver and bronze Coins land on all five reels, each carrying a cash prize tied to your bet:
- Gold Coin – 20x, 25x, 30x, 40x or 50x bet
- Silver Coin – 6x, 7x, 8x, 9x, 10x, 12x or 15x bet
- Bronze Coin – 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x or 5x bet
Payline win payouts are based on the initial bet, which is the total bet divided by the payline cost of 10. The Coin prizes sit outside that line system entirely – they’re cash awards against the total bet, which is why a single gold Coin is worth more than almost any line win the reels can produce.
The gap between the tiers is what makes every Coin landing a small event. A bronze Coin is pocket change; a gold one is worth at least four times the best silver and up to fifty times your stake on its own. Since any of the three can also carry you into the bonus, the metal matters twice over – once for the prize it holds, and once for the round it might open.
Collect Feature
The Collect symbol lands only on reel five, and when it arrives with at least one Coin anywhere on the reels, the feature fires. Every Coin in view pays its prize at once, and the Collect then applies its own multiplier on top of the lot – anywhere up to 5x. One good spin with several gold Coins stacked up can pay far more than the line game ever will.
One thing worth knowing: the coins that pile up graphically during play are for show. They don’t influence anything. The trigger is purely the Collect on reel five plus a Coin in view, nothing else.
Queens of Ra: Coin Collect Bonus Games & Jackpots
Any Coin that lands can trigger a bonus, and the metal of that coin sets the tier. The prizes attached stay the same as the base game’s, so the colour you enter on genuinely changes the ceiling of the round:
- Gold Bonus – triggered by a gold Coin; every coin in the round is gold
- Silver Bonus – triggered by a silver Coin; every coin is silver
- Bronze Bonus – triggered by a bronze Coin; every coin is bronze
How the Round Works
The bonus runs on special reels carrying only Coins, Mystery symbols and inactive low symbols. The grid starts empty with three spins and a 1x multiplier. Every Coin or Mystery that lands locks in place for the rest of the feature and resets the spin counter. The round ends when the spins run out or the grid fills completely.
That reset is what gives the round its shape. An empty spin doesn’t end anything; it just burns one of the three counters. Land a Coin and you’re back to a full count with a new prize locked on the grid, so a good round can keep extending itself long past the spins it started with.
Mystery Symbols and Boosters
Mystery symbols reveal one of three things when they land:
- Coin – locks in place with its cash prize and resets the spin counter
- Extra Spin – increases the reset value of the remaining spins by 1
- Multiplier Booster – adds its 1x to 5x multiplier to the running Bonus multiplier
The running Bonus multiplier is applied to the total win value of the Coins at the end of the feature, not to each coin as it lands. Boosters collected early therefore do the most work, because every coin locked after them is multiplied by the full stack. The Extra Spin reveal plays a different long game: it permanently raises the reset value, so each subsequent Coin buys you one more spin than before.
The Jackpot Ladder
Filling the grid is the real goal, because the coin count climbs a fixed ladder as the round goes on:
- 10 Coins – Mini Jackpot, worth 10x total bet
- 13 Coins – Major Jackpot, worth 50x total bet
- 15 Coins – Grand Jackpot, worth 20,000x total bet
One catch to know about: the Bonus multiplier doesn’t apply to jackpot wins. It boosts the coin total only, so a jackpot round and a boosted coin round are two separate payouts rather than one multiplied pile. The full grid of 15 Coins is what the whole feature builds towards, and it’s a long way from the 10 that gets you started.
Our Honest Verdict
Overall Rating: 7.1/10
A session here is long stretches of reels ticking over in the sun king’s shadow, waiting for a Coin with the right colour to carry you into the round worth having. That round is the entire reason to sit down: the tiered entry means the bonus is decided partly before it starts, and a gold-triggered round with boosters stacked can out-pay hours of the line game.
The bonus ladder is the best thing here, because every locked coin is a step towards something concrete rather than a number quietly growing. The disappointment is the multiplier being shut out of the jackpots, so the round you build boosters in and the round that pays 20,000x are never the same one. It suits players who like a collect bonus with a ladder at the end and are happy to let the reels idle in between; anyone who wants line wins with real weight won’t find it in this tomb, but the gold keeps well for those who wait.
