Shark Pop: Coin Collect Slot Review
Three cartoon sharks grin out of soap-bubble portraits above a sunken tropical shipwreck, and a treasure chest spills coins towards the reels. Shark Pop: Coin Collect barely needs its paylines at all: the 20 fixed lines on the 5×3 grid are close to decorative, because every payout worth having runs through the coin system All For One Studios have built on top of them. Underneath the friendly faces sits 96.15% RTP, Very High volatility and a 20,000x Grand Jackpot.
It shares its name with Coin Collect: Piggy Patrons Extra Bank, reviewed here in 2026, and sits in the same coin-collecting family as 11 Coins of Fire and Gold Collector: Diamond Edition. The coin ladder behind the sharks is where all the money lives, and the line wins are largely there to keep the lights on while you wait for it.
Base Game & Features
This is a five-reel, three-row slot with 20 fixed paylines. Wins run left to right from the first reel, and only the highest combination on each payline pays. The total payout is the sum of all payline wins on a spin.
There’s a quirk in the stake arithmetic worth knowing. Payline wins are based on an initial bet, which is the total bet divided by a payline cost of 10, and the paytable scales with whatever you’ve set the total bet to.
The paytable is a modest ladder, and it’s worth reading once so you know what the reels are actually worth:
- Submarine (red): 1x / 3x / 10x for three, four, five
- Bell: 0.5x / 2x / 5x
- Diver Helmet: 0.4x / 1.5x / 4x
- Anchor: 0.3x / 1x / 3x
- A, K, Q: 0.2x / 0.5x / 2x
- J, 10: 0.2x / 0.4x / 1.5x
Stakes run from 0.20 to 12.50 per spin. Wilds substitute for everything except the Coin and Collect symbols, and they appear in the base game only.
That exclusion matters more than it sounds. The wild is locked out of the system the whole game is built around, so it can only ever complete the small wins on the ladder above.
Autoplay is available, and only in the base game: pick a number of spins at the current bet and the session plays itself out, with the remaining count displayed on screen.
Collect Feature
The Collect symbol lands only on reel five, and it needs company: one Collect plus at least one Coin anywhere on the reels pays out every Coin prize on screen in a single go.
The Collect also carries its own multiplier, which is where a lucky spin turns into a good one. Coins come in three colours, each with its own value band:
- Blue Coin: 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x or 5x bet
- Purple Coin: 6x, 7x, 8x, 9x, 10x, 12x or 15x bet
- Gold Coin: 20x, 25x, 30x, 40x or 50x bet
One thing the game is upfront about: the graphical collection of coins is purely for show and doesn’t influence anything. A Collect on reel five with a single blue Coin is a small moment. A Collect with a screen of gold is where the base game’s real money sits.
Shark Pop: Coin Collect Bonus Games
Any Coin that lands may also trigger its own bonus round, and the colour decides which shark shows up. A gold Coin can trigger the Goldie Bonus, where all coins are gold. A blue Coin can trigger the Splash Bonus, all blue. A purple Coin can trigger the Berry Bonus, all purple.
The coins carry the same prizes they do in the base game, so the colour you enter on sets the value of everything that follows. Splash rounds are the common end of that scale, Berry the middle, and Goldie the one worth waiting for.
The bonus runs on special reels containing only Coin symbols, Mystery symbols and inactive low symbols. It starts with an empty grid, three spins and a 1x multiplier. Every Coin or Mystery symbol that lands stays on screen for the rest of the feature and resets the spin counter, and the round continues until the spins run out or every position is filled.
Mystery Symbols and Boosters
Mystery symbols reveal one of three things when they land:
- A Coin, which locks in place and resets the spins
- An Extra Spin symbol, which increases the reset value of the spin counter by one
- A Multiplier Booster symbol, carrying a 1x-5x multiplier that’s added to the round’s total multiplier
That Extra Spin detail rewards attention: it doesn’t just add a spin, it raises the value the counter resets to, so every subsequent Coin or Mystery extends the round by more. A late string of them is how a modest bonus turns into a long one.
The bonus multiplier is applied to the total coin values at the end of the feature, which makes the Booster reveals the difference between a modest round and a large one. It is not added to jackpot wins.
Jackpot Ladder
Filling the grid is only half the point. The coin count feeds a three-step ladder as the round goes on:
- 10 Coins: Mini Jackpot, 10x total bet
- 13 Coins: Major Jackpot, 50x total bet
- 15 Coins: Grand Jackpot, 20,000x total bet
Fifteen positions on a 5×3 grid means the Grand asks for a completely full screen. It’s a demanding target, and the ladder below it does the day-to-day paying.
Our Honest Verdict
Overall Rating: 7.1/10
A session here is mostly spinning past the cheerful seabed while you wait for coins to show up, and the bright cartoon setting makes that waiting easier than a Very High volatility maths model has any right to. The reason somebody picks this over a dozen friendlier slots is the chase: a gold-heavy bonus with boosters stacked can out-pay hours of ordinary play.
The bonus rounds are the strength, because the build is real – each locked coin and Extra Spin extends the round, and the colour you enter on genuinely changes what the finish is worth. The weakness is that everything outside those rounds pays like an afterthought: a 10x ceiling on the top line win, and a wild that can’t touch the coin system at all.
This suits anyone who likes a hold-and-collect round with a ladder at the end and doesn’t need the reels to entertain them between features. Anyone who wants line wins with real weight behind them won’t find it here. The sharks, at least, will keep grinning either way.
