This is a game about hoarding. Ra and Cleopatra glower at each other from opposite ends of the Nile while you collect ankhs, orbs and scatters into their meters, and if you enjoy that slow accumulation as its own pleasure, this is your game and neither pharaoh will judge you for it.
The combined triggers are the strongest thing here. A hold-and-win round that can arrive carrying one, two or three modifiers doesn’t wear out the way every single-modifier version of this mechanic does, and the 5×5 Ascension Reels version genuinely plays like a different bonus.
The cost is patience, and not the ordinary volatility kind. The full upgrade ladder wants 35 Scatters, the free spins round is five spins with a 1.59% slice of the return, and long stretches pass where you’re filling bars rather than winning anything.
