A leprechaun and a hare race each other across the reels of this Irish fantasy, but the pot of gold they’re both chasing isn’t won on the paylines – it’s won by filling pots, and Infinity Dragon Studios has made that collection loop the entire game. Our verdict: it’s a stronger design than most hold-and-win clones manage, because the round you’re collecting towards is never quite the same twice.
It runs at 96.02% RTP on a 5×3 grid with 40 fixed paylines, at medium-high volatility. The same Power Combo architecture served Ra & Cleopatra: Nile Rising Power Combo well in 2026, and Wild Herd Stampede Stacks shows the studio’s range beyond it. Whether the Irish end of the formula pays off depends almost entirely on how much you enjoy filling pots.
Base Game & Features
The base game is a 5×3, 40-payline set-up where the paylines run left to right and can’t be adjusted. Wins land on just under a quarter of spins – the hit rate is 24.61% – but the paylines aren’t where the real design effort went. Almost everything that happens on the reels ends up in a meter somewhere.
Wilds substitute for everything except Scatters, Collect, Coin and Bonus symbols, and they appear in the base game only.
Base Game Instant Collect
Collect symbols land on reels 1 and 5, and each one awards every Coin and Bonus symbol currently on the reels. Coins and Bonus symbols can appear on all 5 reels, so a Collect landing alongside a screen of coins pays them all at once. It’s the base game’s one direct payout mechanism, and it’s a simple one.
Lucky Treasure Bonus Pick
When a Scatter lands, it may transform into a Rainbow symbol, which collects into the meter at the bottom of the screen. Charmed Scatter Upgrades
Every Scatter collected in any Lucky Pot counts down the leprechaun hat at the top of the reels, and each time it empties, a permanent upgrade unlocks:
- Level 1, after 15 Scatters – the Rainbow Scatter, which splits into all 3 coloured Scatters when it lands
- Level 2, after 30 more – the Second Chance Scatter, granting another shot at triggering Link&Win if the initial land doesn’t fire it
- Level 3, after 50 more – the Instant Win Scatter, which triggers Link&Win on the spot
That’s 95 Scatters in total to unlock everything, and Second Chance and Instant Win Scatters don’t themselves count down the hat. One piece of design honesty: the graphical collection of Scatters is purely for show and doesn’t influence triggering.
Harrigan & Hare! Rainbow Bonanza Power Combo Bonuses: Link&Win and the Power Combos
Link&Win is where all those meters pay off. Green, Red and Purple Power Combo Scatters each feed their own Lucky Pot, and any of them can set the feature off – alone or in combination. The round begins with 3 spins and 3 Coin symbols held in place; every additional Coin that lands is held and resets the respins to 3. Fill every position and the Grand drops.
The fixed prize ladder pays Grand at 10,000x total bet, Major at 100x and Minor at 25x, and everything won in the feature is added to base game wins. What changes the shape of the round is which colour – or colours – set it off.
Giant Reels (Green)
The Green Power Combo expands the reel set to a full 5×5 grid for the feature. More positions mean more room for Coins, and a correspondingly harder job of filling the screen for the Grand.
Multi Boost (Purple)
The Purple Power Combo divides the reels into coloured zones – four of them, or six when Giant Reels is also active. Each zone carries a multiplier drawn from 2x, 3x, 4x or 5x at the start, and zone sizes are randomised every trigger. Fill a zone by the end of the round and every prize inside it is multiplied and paid.
Multi symbols upgrade their zone’s multiplier by 1x each time one lands, up to a maximum of 10x, then convert into a Coin and reset the spin count. Several can land on the same spin, which is where the big zone payouts come from.
Lucky Pot Collect (Red)
The Red Power Combo adds a Lucky Pot Collect symbol that can land on any reel during the feature. When it does, every Coin and Bonus symbol on the reels is collected and paid immediately, and the respins reset to 3. It’s the most direct of the 3 powers – a standing sweep of whatever you’ve built.
Combined Triggers

Overall Rating: 7.7/10
Playing Harrigan & Hare! is mostly waiting, and the game is honest about that. You spin, symbols drift up into their pots, and every so often a Collect sweeps the coins off the reels. The reason to sit through it is the same one that pulls anyone towards a rainbow: the round at the end, and here it’s a round worth waiting for.
The Power Combo system is what makes it work. Because the trigger’s colour decides which modifiers come along, no two bonus rounds feel identical, and a 5×5 board with six multiplier zones is a genuinely different game to a single-colour run. The cost is everything before it: three meters, 95 Scatters to fully upgrade, and long stretches where the reels are doing little more than bookkeeping between triggers.
This one rewards a certain temperament – somebody who likes a slow build and doesn’t need a win on every spin will feel at home here. Anyone after constant action will find the base game thin. For the patient, though, the pot at the end is a real one.
