Wild Stacks Super Spins Slot Review
There’s a gold bank-vault door on a chrome podium beside the reels, and it isn’t decoration. Wild Stacks Super Spins keeps almost everything worth having behind things you collect rather than things you hit: the spins rounds, the multiplier head start, the 5000x Grand, all of it banked in meters that fill a point at a time.
The setting says otherwise. This is a neon dance hall of blue mosaic tile and purple searchlights, the 5×4 reel set housed in a translucent green-gold drum, and the paytable is pure fruit machine: 777s, bells, melons. Infinity Dragon Studios has dressed a patient collector’s game in disco lights.
It plays on a 5×4 grid with 30 fixed paylines, at 96.02% RTP and medium volatility, stakes from 0.20 to 25.00, with a Grand prize of 5000x total bet. It sits alongside Wild Rhino Stampede Stacks and Wild Herd Stampede Stacks in the studio’s stacks family, with Cluck N’ Fortunes Power Combo nearby for the same collecting loop in a farmyard coat. Whether the vault door ever opens is what follows.
Base Game & Features
Wins run left to right across the 30 paylines, and the number of lines can’t be adjusted. Where multiple winning combinations land on a single line, only the highest counts, with the total payout the sum of all line wins.
The top of the paytable is pure arcade nostalgia, and the values below are multiples of your total stake:
- 777 / Bell: 0.1x for two, 1x for three, 2.5x for four, 10x for five
- Watermelon: 0.6x, 1.5x, 4x for three, four, five
- Cherry: 0.4x, 1x, 2.5x
- A: 0.3x, 0.7x, 2x
- K / Q: 0.2x, 0.5x, 1.5x
- J / 10: 0.2x, 0.4x, 1x
The Wild substitutes for everything except the Free Spins and Bonus symbols. That’s its whole job here, and it does it without ceremony.
Star Collection
Star symbols appear only in the base game, and every reel carries its own collect meter along the bottom. Each Star that lands adds to the meter on the reel it landed on.
Four Stars on a single reel is the threshold, and once a reel’s Wild Reels feature is active, Stars stop appearing there altogether. The meters are persistent, and they’re tracked separately for each bet level.
Change your stake and you change which set of meters you’re feeding, so a half-finished reel at one level stays half-finished until you return to it.
Wild Reels
Collect four Stars on a reel and that reel activates. From then on, a Wild is added to the triggering reel on every spin, one position at a time, until the reel is completely full of Wilds. On the spin after that, the Wilds are removed and the meter starts from scratch.
It’s a slow build with a visible payoff, and it doesn’t block the rest of the game: Free Spins and the Bonus Stepper Game can both trigger while Wild Reels is running. Free Spins is the more valuable of the two interruptions.
Wild Stacks Super Spins Free Spins & Bonuses
Free Spins
Three, four or five Scatters award 5, 7 or 10 Free Spins respectively. The round starts with a 1x multiplier that climbs by 1x after every spin, so a full 10-spin round finishes at 10x even before retriggers.
Each spin drops a Wild onto random reels, and any Wild landing on top of an existing Wild raises that Wild’s own multiplier by 1x. Stacked Wilds with growing multipliers inside a round that’s already escalating is where the money lives in this game.
Retriggers are available, and bets and lines match the triggering spin.
Super Free Spins
The upgrade route is the interesting part. A pair of Scatters in the base game doesn’t pay anything, but it does add one point to the Super Free Spins upgrade meter. Twenty points upgrades the feature permanently, and the meter can be upgraded up to ten times over.
Once upgraded, the next 3-Scatter trigger launches Super Free Spins instead: same 5, 7 or 10 spin counts, but the multiplier starts at 5x rather than 1x and still climbs by 1x per spin.
The head start of 5x rather than 1x is the whole reward for the grind, and it compounds with the stacked Wild multipliers inside the round.
Gold Bar Bonus & the Bonus Stepper Game
Gold Bar Bonus symbols attach themselves to high and low symbols during the base game, and collecting one or more of them can trigger the bonus at random. The visual collection is exactly that, visual. It has no bearing on whether the feature fires, so counting bars tells you nothing.
If Free Spins and Gold Bars land on the same spin, only the Free Spins or Super Free Spins is awarded. The bonus waits for another day.
The Bonus Stepper Game itself is a spin-and-collect round: prize symbols landing on the middle reel fill the corresponding meters, and three matching prizes wins that prize and ends the feature. Multiple prizes can be won before it closes:
- Grand: 5000x total bet
- Major: 200x total bet
- Minor: 40x total bet
- Mini: 15x total bet
Prize wins are multiplied by the total bet. The ladder is steep, with the Grand sitting 25 times above the Major, and the round’s contribution to overall return is 6.59%, against 8.12% for standard Free Spins and 11.22% for the Super version.
The stepper is the garnish; the spins rounds carry the meal.
Our Honest Verdict
Overall Rating: 7.8/10
Playing Wild Stacks Super Spins is mostly watching counters fill. Wins arrive often enough to keep the balance breathing, but the real action is elsewhere: Stars creeping up a reel, the upgrade meter ticking over on another Scatter pair. That gathering, more than any single spin, is the draw, and the vault door standing beside the reels is a fair picture of it.
Its strength is that the game remembers you. The meters persist, the Super upgrade is permanent once banked, and the 5x head start it buys changes a round you’ve already played dozens of times. The weakness is the Gold Bar Bonus: a collection that does nothing, feeding a stepper worth under 7% of the return, with a ladder that’s really one prize and three afterthoughts.
This is a game for players who like a long build at modest stakes, and who’d rather earn a feature than be handed one. Anyone wanting bonus action on demand will find the wait cold. Stay for the grind, though, and the disco eventually pays out.
