That middle reel is the reason to choose it: it’s where the doubler lives, and the doubler is the one symbol that turns an ordinary line into something worth the wait.
The trouble is how little there is beyond that. There’s no free spins round, nothing to chase, and the bottom half of the paytable returns fractions of the line bet, so long stretches pass without a win that feels like one. It’s a beautiful cabinet around a very small engine room, and the beauty only partly makes up for it.
