Sweet Bonanza 1000 Dice Slot Review
A candy castle with an ice-cream-cone spire rises out of pink cloudbanks, lollipops crowd the margins, and the two cheapest symbols on the board are dice. That swap is the most honest reskin Pragmatic Play has done in a while: the candy lows it replaced never paid anything either, so nothing of value was lost, and the fruit that actually matters is all still here.
It runs on a 6×5 grid where symbols pay anywhere on screen, at 96.53% RTP and medium volatility. That’s the same mathematical spine as Sweet Bonanza 1000, reviewed here in 2026, and the same scatter-pays family as Gates of Olympus 1000 Dice and Sugar Rush 1000. What the multipliers can do in the bonus is the reason to care.
Base Game & Features
Wins work on a count, not a line. The total number of the same symbol on screen at the end of a spin determines the win, so eight hearts anywhere pay the same as eight hearts bunched together. Position doesn’t matter at all.
There’s no wild in this game. Every win comes from raw symbol counts, and the only special symbol outside the features is the lollipop scatter that triggers the bonus. The rest of the board is fruit and dice.
The paytable splits cleanly in two. Hearts, moons, stars and diamonds occupy the top half, and they’re the symbols a meaningful win is built from. Below them sit the apple, banana and pears, paying modest amounts, then the two dice at the bottom, whose eight-of-a-kind returns are a fraction of the stake.
Tumble Feature
Every winning combination is paid, then all winning symbols disappear. The remaining symbols fall to the bottom of the screen and the empty positions are filled with new symbols dropping in from above.
Tumbling continues until no more winning combinations appear, and there’s no limit on how many tumbles a single spin can chain. A board that keeps connecting can pay several times over from one stake, which is what gives the base game its pacing.
Symbol Values
Pays below are multiples of the stake, at the game’s standard bet multiplier of 20x. Wins need eight or more of a symbol for the bottom tier, ten or eleven for the middle, and twelve or more for the top.
- Heart – 50x for 12+, 25x for 10-11, 10x for 8-9
- Moon – 25x for 12+, 10x for 10-11, 2.5x for 8-9
- Stars – 15x for 12+, 5x for 10-11, 2x for 8-9
- Blue Diamonds – 12x for 12+, 2x for 10-11, 1.5x for 8-9
- Apple – 10x for 12+, 1.5x for 10-11, 1x for 8-9
- Banana – 8x for 12+, 1.2x for 10-11, 0.8x for 8-9
- Green Pears – 5x for 12+, 1x for 10-11, 0.5x for 8-9
- Blue Dice – 4x for 12+, 0.9x for 10-11, 0.4x for 8-9
- Pink Dice – 2x for 12+, 0.75x for 10-11, 0.25x for 8-9
Ante Bet
Two bet multipliers are on offer. At 20x it’s normal play. At 25x the chance of triggering the free spins naturally is doubled, but the Buy Free Spins option is switched off while it’s active.
It’s a straight choice between cheaper spins and better bonus odds. Players who intend to buy the bonus anyway get nothing from the 25x setting, since the buy menu disappears the moment it’s switched on.
Sweet Bonanza 1000 Dice Free Spins & Bonus Buys
Free Spins
The round opens when four or more scatter symbols land, and it starts with 10 free spins. Scatters keep their power inside the feature: every spin that turns up three or more of them adds five further spins to the tally, with no cap on how often that can happen.
Multiplier Symbols
Multiplier symbols show up in the free spins round only, and each one holds its place on the reels until the whole tumbling sequence finishes. Each takes a random value from 2x up to 1000x, drawn from 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 8x, 10x, 12x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x, 100x or 1000x.
When the tumbles end, the values of every multiplier on screen are added together, and the total win of the sequence is multiplied by that sum. It’s an addition, not a contest: three multipliers landing in one sequence all count towards the final figure, not just the highest of them.
That summing is what separates the 1000 builds from older scatter-pays games, and it’s why a long tumble sequence matters more here than the size of any single win inside it. Every extra multiplier that lands mid-sequence raises the figure the whole chain will eventually be multiplied by.
Bonus Buys
Two purchase options sit on the left of the interface, both guaranteeing four or more scatters on the triggering spin:
- Buy Free Spins – 100x total bet, standard round
- Buy Super Free Spins – 500x total bet, every multiplier symbol carries a minimum of 20x
The super version is the expensive door by a wide margin. Five times the price buys a floor of 20x on every multiplier, which rules out the small 2x and 3x values that can deflate a standard round.
For a game whose biggest wins come from summed multipliers, that floor matters more than it would on a title where only the top value counts. It’s the one concrete difference between the two buys beyond the price.
Our Honest Verdict
Overall Rating: 7/10
A session here is long stretches of counting fruit under a candy sky, waiting for the one tumble sequence where the multipliers pile up and the whole picture changes at once. That ambush is the reason anybody chooses it: the paytable alone can’t produce the big numbers, so a long sequence in the bonus carries a possibility the base game never does.
The strength is that everything in the bonus compounds. Multipliers sum instead of competing, retriggers extend the round, and one good sequence can out-pay an hour of fruit. The weakness is what surrounds it: the dice swap changes the pictures and nothing else, and the base game between bonuses is thin, with lows paying a quarter of the stake.
It’s a natural home for anyone who liked Sweet Bonanza 1000 and wants the same engine at a gentler boil, and for scatter-pays players who’d rather not ride the harsher 1000-series swings. Anyone who wants a base game that entertains between bonuses will go hungry here. The sugar is still sugar, though the sweetness takes its time arriving.
