Udder Carnage: Holy Cow Slot Review
A three-eyed alien cow watches the reels from a galaxy backdrop while barnyards drift past in orbit behind it. Farmyard slots don’t usually go this far off-world.
The pasture goes interstellar in Udder Carnage: Holy Cow, where Gaming Corps station a Rambo-styled military cow above the grid for the ground war. The soundtrack plays along with it rather than against it.
The game runs on a 6×4 grid with 4,096 ways to win, an RTP of 95.79% in its standard configuration – operators can also run 93.79% and 91.80% settings – and a volatility rating of 9/10.
Wins top out at 10,000x the total bet, half the ceiling the studio hung on Coins of Valhalla 20,000.
Prize Coins are familiar ground here. Clucks and Robbers – Coin Collect runs a similar collection system, and 3 Pigs of Independence: Hog Win keeps the same barnyard company.
Whether the cattle do anything new with it is the question.
Base Game
The board is a 6×4 grid running 4,096 ways to win. Standard paying symbols share the reels with three special symbol types, and the coin machinery sits on top of the ways engine rather than replacing it.

Prize Coins
Prize Coin symbols land on reels two, three, four and five, each carrying an instant value between 0.5x and 5x the total bet.
Collectors
A Collector symbol lands on reels one or two. When it arrives alongside Prize Coins, it gathers every Prize Coin value on the reels and awards the combined total instantly.

Wilds
Wilds appear on reels two to five and substitute for all standard symbols. They don’t replace Prize Coins, Cow Coins, Collectors or Bonus symbols.
Bonus Features
Two Hold & Win rounds sit at the centre of the game, with a Free Spins round that feeds into both of them.
Beef Force Hold & Win
Landing a Beef Force Coin can trigger Beef Force Hold & Win. You start with three respins, and every new symbol that lands resets the counter.
Three cow modes are selected at random for the round:
- Boost Mode: the Red Cow transforms into Special Prize Symbols.
- Collect Mode: the Yellow Cow collects random Prize Coin values.
- Multi Mode: the Blue Cow applies multipliers of 2x to 5x to random Prize Coins, then awards an additional instant prize.

Astro Moo Super Hold & Win
An Astro Moo Coin unlocks the enhanced version. Four respins replace three, and the grid grows a row taller to stand five rows deep.
All three cow abilities are live throughout the round, in upgraded form:
- The Red Cow can transform into Special Grand Prize symbols.
- The Yellow Cow collects values from the entire grid.
- The Blue Cow applies multipliers of up to 50x.
Filling the 5×6 grid completely awards the feature’s top prize of 5,000x the total bet.

Free Spins
Three, four, five or six Bonus symbols open the Free Spins round. Three award five spins, four award eight, five award 12, and six award 15.
Both Hold & Win features stay available during the round, and at least one is guaranteed to trigger before the spins run out, including on the minimum five-spin award.

Feature Buys
The buy menu is stocked more heavily than most:
- Coin Hunt: an ante-bet for the base game that guarantees at least one Collector symbol on every spin.
- Standard Bonus Buy: 75x bet, equivalent to landing three scatters.
- Premium Bonus Buy: 200x bet, entering with five scatters.
- Beef Force Hold & Win: 30x bet for direct entry.
- Astro Moo Super Hold & Win: 60x bet for direct entry.
Our Honest Verdict
Overall Rating: 6.1/10
The base game keeps itself readable: coins land, Collectors sweep them up, and that’s about the extent of it.
Beef Force Hold & Win does what hold-and-win rounds have always done. The three cow modes keep it moving, but it never stops feeling like a template.
Astro Moo is the better half. The taller grid and the sharper cow abilities give it somewhere to go, and it’s the round worth holding out for.
Free spins are the thin part. Beyond the ways-to-win there’s little to work with, though the guaranteed route into a Hold & Win round gives them a job.
There’s more depth than the barnyard silliness lets on, and the visuals carry plenty of it. Traditional hold-and-win players and jackpot chasers will find their game here; anyone wanting something more intricate won’t.
For all the intergalactic cattle, it never quite earns its own exclamation mark.
