Vegas Space Heist Reloaded Slot Review
Under the flying saucers hovering over a neon strip, a green alien in purple goggles grins from the rim of a gold-and-teal craft, and pale beams of light stab down onto a cracked street below. Vegas Space Heist Reloaded argues that a 3×3 grid is enough space for 720 ways to win and seven modifiers, which is more optimism than most small-grid games would dare. From Qora Games, it stretches that little reel set with a five-symbol centre column, then loads a progressive jackpot and a bonus round that grows the grid on top.
Most compact games lean on simplicity. This one bets the other way, and the neon Vegas-under-invasion artwork keeps pace with the excess. Whether the frame holds all of it is the case to make. Coins of Poseidon 2 covers similar ground if this one lands well.
Base Game & Features
The grid is a strange hybrid: a 3×3 reel set with an extended five-symbol column down the middle, paying across 720 ways rather than fixed lines. Ways pay means any matching symbols on adjacent columns count, wherever they sit. That centre column does a lot of the work, since it’s where most of the winning combinations have room to form. It’s a compact layout, built for speed.
The symbols run with the heist theme, drawn in the same glossy, saturated cartoon style as the backdrop:
- Poker chips
- Dice
- Letter symbols
- The alien
- UFO symbols, three of which pay the jackpot
No win values are attached to any symbol in a form that can be quoted, so none are invented here. What the game does set out plainly is its modifier set, and there’s a lot of it:
- Boost Meter – fills as you play; the alien signals when a big win is close
- Jackpot – match three UFO symbols to win the progressive jackpot
- Wild Boom Chance – the wild mechanic, signalled by its own icon
- MEGA WAYS – the bonus round trigger
The Boost Meter
A Boost Meter sits alongside the reels, and the alien watches it alongside you. As play continues the meter builds, and when it and the alien start signalling, big wins are meant to be close behind. It’s a pacing device more than a feature in its own right: something to keep an eye on while the ways pay out.
It also feeds the bonus round. Boosts earned in the base game carry into the round’s economy through the extra reels feature, which pays out in Boosts as well as Cash Prizes. The meter is the thread that ties the two halves of the game together.
The Jackpot
Match three UFO symbols anywhere on the grid and the jackpot is yours. It’s progressive, so its value builds as play continues rather than sitting at a fixed amount, and the three-symbol match is the only way in. The ceiling is whatever the meter says at the moment you hit it – the game publishes no maximum win figure.
Wild Boom Chance
A Wild Boom Chance icon appears as one of the game’s modifiers. It’s the wild mechanic, and like the rest of the modifier set it’s signalled in play rather than explained at length. It substitutes in the usual way when it lands, standing in for other symbols to complete ways across the centre column.
The MEGA WAYS trigger
MEGA WAYS is the doorway to the bonus round. When it fires, play leaves the base grid behind entirely and the round’s own modifier set takes over – Radar Pick, 2X Boost and the extra reels, each doing its own job on top of the standard play.
Vegas Space Heist Reloaded Bonus Round
The bonus round is where the modifiers stack up. Landing the MEGA WAYS symbol triggers it, and once inside, three separate modifiers can come into play:
- Radar Pick – collect symbols as you play for a chance at the Radar Pick, a selection game inside the round
- 2X Boost – doubles every prize the bonus round awards
- Extra reels – adds between one and four reels to the playing area, each delivering extra Boosts or Cash Prizes
How the extra reels work
Starting from a 3×3 grid, the extra reels feature can add up to four additional columns. Each one arrives with something attached: either a Boost for the meter or a straight Cash Prize. There’s no dead weight in the expansion – every reel the round gives you pays something.
The number of reels isn’t fixed. A round might hand you a single extra column; it might hand you four, more than doubling the width of the grid you started with. On a ways-pay layout that growth matters, because every added column is another place for matching symbols to land and count.
How the modifiers compound
The three bonus modifiers stack rather than compete. Extra reels add Boosts and Cash Prizes; the Radar Pick gives a shot at a selection game on top; and the 2X Boost then doubles everything the round has awarded.
A round that lands extra reels early, builds Boosts through them and closes with the 2X Boost active is the one worth chasing. The order matters in practice, since a 2X Boost that arrives before the reels have paid out has far less to double.
There’s no free spins counter in the usual sense and no published retrigger rules, so none are guessed at here. The modifier set above is the round in full.
Our Honest Verdict
Overall Rating: 7.1/10
This is a quick, busy game – short spins on a small grid, with the alien and his saucer always doing something in the corner of your eye, and the jackpot sitting there as the reason you’d pick it over plainer three-reel fare. It never feels like it’s idling.
The bonus round’s extra reels are the best idea here. Every column the round adds pays something, and four of them more than double the grid you started with, which is real growth rather than a cosmetic flourish. The fog around the numbers is the worst of it: with no RTP and no volatility to point at, the progressive jackpot is doing all the persuading on its own.
It suits players who like their slots fast, loud and cartoonish, and who don’t need the small print settled before they spin. Anyone who reads the numbers first should let this saucer pass overhead.
