Wild Donuts is a visually appealing slot with something that’ll hit the spot for confectionary fans everywhere, but the sweetness of Wild Donuts compared to slots is something we’ve been pondering about.
There’s nothing inherently wrong with Wild Donuts, but it’s got fierce competition from the likes of Sweet Bonanza and others that have capatalised on tempting treats too.
When it comes to gameplay, Wild Donuts is unquestionably exciting if the Wilds are in your favour, yet we must say, the build up between each spin can be a little tiresome. Each reel spins slowly while deciding whether or not to drop a wild, and it can be a little dull to watch.
On the other hand, if you’re lucky with lots of wilds in good places, then it can feel the opposite.
Wild Donuts has an undoubted Jammin’ Jars feel to it with Wilds that hop around, and if we’re honest, we’re fans of the way Push Gaming did it with Wilds that stay. Unfortunately, the smaller grid size doesn’t quite allow Wild Donuts to do the same.
To give Max Win Gaming credit, they’ve at least tried to pull it off in their own way. Wilds can land in with multipliers ready and raring to go, which is great in contrast to Jammin’ Jars, where wilds usually begin with no multiplier.
