Spartans Vs Zombies Base Game and Features

Spartans Vs Zombies is a 5 reel slot with 20 fixed paylines. Winning combinations are formed when 3 or more of the same symbols land from left to right, starting from the left-most reel. 
£/€0.20 (£/€0.40 Super Stake) per spin and the maximum bet available is £/€100 (£/€200 Super Stake) per spin, with plenty of other options in between the two. Spartans Vs Zombies has a theoretical RTP of 96.24%.

Multipays

Once the Spartan Free Spins round has been triggered, you will be awarded 10 Free Spins with an active x2 Multiplier, and 2 Shield Picks. 

Behind each Shield symbol is a random number of additional Free Spins or an Increased Multiplier. Once you have chosen your Shields, the Free Spins round will begin.

Spartans Vs Zombies marks a new era for Stakelogic where quality wins over quantity, and we can see the effect it’s had on Spartans Vs Zombies.

In our opinion, Spartans Vs Zombies is fantastic in more ways than one. The graphics here are nothing short of outstanding, and the idea of putting real-life Spartans against fictional Zombies is quite silly, but it works. Spartans have been done before, and so have zombies. The individual genre to which each belong doesn’t evoke too much excitement individually, but together it’s proven quite interesting. Pixies vs Pirates from Nolimit City tried out the idea of pitting two non-related entities against each other, and that too proved to be amusing enough to leave an impression.

What next, we wonder? The possibilities are endless but rest assured that Spartans Vs Zombies owes its appeal to much more than its interesting characters.

Stakelogic has done well to make gameplay both capable and interesting. The Spartan and Zombie Free Spin rounds offer different experiences entirely, and from testing them ourselves we found them both to be rather exciting. In truth, Zombie Free Spins is more capable, but the Stacked Wild Symbols that come with Spartan Free Spins do make it quite appealing.

Our only complaint, and it’s a complaint that we’ve voiced before, is with the Super Stake feature. The function of it is great, but it seems quite expensive to double your bet for an increased chance at Free Spins. Our complaints could be unsubstantiated if Stakelogic has built it in a way that makes it much more likely than say, Pragmatic Play for example, but it’s hard to know for sure. Pragmatic Play usually opts for a marginal increase for a better chance at Free Spins, and we think Stakelogic could benefit from sitting down to think about the cost of such a feature.

Apart from that, Spartans Vs Zombies looks, feels and plays brilliantly. It feels as modern as a new slot should and we’re quite excited to see it in action on stream.
