Warp Wreckers Slot Review 2024
On a planet far away, the world’s best Scientists are battling against time to to develop Robots for the next ‘Astrocalypse’. The most important project by far is constructing The Destroyer, but it’s not quite finished yet.
Instead of creating destrucatable Robots, this state of the art facility is jam-packed with adorable and colourful Robots who don’t realise they’ve been cloned. Once they come face to face with their reflection, they get very confused and explode…creating an Energy Orb that activates the Booster in the Cluster Bomb!
Once everything on the reels has be destroyed, a Portal opens up that leads to another dimension where The Destroyer has already been finished. In order to truly activate it, the energy of 4 Power Orbs are required, sending you in a time loop of fun in search of them.
War Wreckers Power Glyph is a fun and feature-rich slot with High Volatility. The ‘Erase-3’ mechanic is a proven and popular feature which is new to Quickspin, and a perfect match for the Power Glyph mechanic. Although the Erase-3 mechanic is new to Quickspin, it’s something we’ve seen before in Play’n GO’s Moon Princess.
Book of Duat, Cash Truck and Spinions X-mas Party are just some of Quickspin’s more popular and most recent releases, but has Warp Wreckers got what it takes to be as memorable as these titles? Let’s play on and find out!

Warp Wreckers Base Game and Features
Warp Wreckers is a 5×5 Video Slot with a Pay Anywhere mechanic. This means that you only need 3 or more of the same symbols in a line, either Horizontally or Vertically, even if it doesn’t start from the left-most reel.
Warp Wreckers features Tumble Reels. Each time a winning combination is formed, all winning symbols are removed from the grid. After spawning new Wilds and Power Glyph symbols, the empty positions are then filled by any existing symbols that fall down from above. No new symbols will fall onto the grid from above, except if you consume the Bomber Power-Up.
The base game in Warp Wreckers features an Increasing Multiplier, along with Wilds, Power Glyph Wilds, The Destroyer! and the Power-Up Stack. These features give the base game a much needed boost, keeping players entertained whilst they grind for the Free Spins round.
Increasing Multiplier
Each time a winning combination is formed, the Multiplier will increase by +1.
The more consecutive wins you have in any one spin, the higher your Multiplier climbs.
Once no more winning combinations are available, the Multiplier will reset with the next paid spin. The Increasing Multiplier does not reset during Free Spins.
Wilds
Wild symbols are not present during base game spins and have to be awarded.
Regular Wilds are awarded randomly at the center of the Crystal or by forming a winning combination between 3 and 5 symbols long.
Power Glyph Wilds
Power Glyph Wilds can be awarded by connecting between 3 and 5 Robot symbols together in any one row. Power Glyphs that are used as part of a winning combination, activates the next Modifier in the Power-Up Stack.
The Destroyer!
The Destoyer! is a large Wild that covers a random 2×2 position on the grid.
Once The Destoyer! symbol is present on the grid, just before the next Tumble it will break down into individual Wilds.
Power-Up Stack
At the start of the base game, the Power-Up Stack is filled with 4 random Power-Ups.
In the Free Spins round, the Power-Up Stack is filled with 4 random Power-Ups plus The Destroyer! for each spin.
If you win with the use of a Power-Up, automatically activates the next Power-Up in the Power-Up Stack. When there are no more winning combinations, the active Power-Ups are consumed.
The 4 Modifiers available are as follows.
- The Transformer – Selects a random symbol and transforms it to another symbol.
- The Eraser – Chooses a random symbol and removes all instances of that symbol from the grid.
- The Warper – Selects a random symbol and transforms all instances of it Wild.
- The Bomber – Drops random Wilds from above into available positions on the grid.
Warp Wreckers Free Spins
In order to trigger the Free Spins round, you will need to clear the grid of all higher and lower paying symbols (excluding Wilds and Power Glyph Wilds), to be awarded 6 Free Spins.
During the Free Spins round, the Increasing Multiplier will not reset between spins.
Clearing all the symbols on the grid (excluding Wilds and Power Glyphs) during the Free Spins round, awards an additional +3 Free Spins.
Warp Wreckers Our Verdict
Warp Wreckers shows us once again that Quickspin are one of the best slot providers for a reason, though we can’t say it’s their absolute best work
Warp Wreckers is fun, light hearted and it has some definite moments of promise with its diverse features. Quickspin games of late have been daringly potent when it comes to the potential they have, but Warp Wreckers is a bit more tame in comparison. 4,726x is the maximum potential here, and while it’s certainly small when compared to others, it’s not really a figure that you’d complain about if you achieved it.
Overall, Warp Wreckers is a loveable addition to Quickspin’s portfolio. It may not be their best slot to date, and we’re not entirely sure if its shelf life will be too long either, but it’s hard to criticize as a feel-good slot with likeable characters.
