Das xBoot situates the player deep below the sea amidst soldiers living and working on a submarine.

Das xBoot: Betting and Symbols

Nolimit City has once again provided a wide array of betting options so that everyone may enjoy Das xBoot. The lowest option here is £/€0.20 per spin, and the highest option is £/€100 per spin. Das xBoot: The Base Game and Features

Das xBoot is a 6 reel slot with a 2-3-4-4-3-2 format in the Base Game. The default number of ways to win in Das xBoot is 576, but this may increase all the way up to 75,712 later on.

Forming a win will require you to connect at least 3 of any symbol from left to right on adjacent reels, starting with the leftmost reel. Connecting high paying symbols all the way across the reels may yield great rewards, but the real action of Das xBoot can be attributed to some of Nolimit City’s tried and true features.

xNudge Wilds

xNudge Wilds may land on reels 3 and 4 in the Base Game. Every time these symbols land, they will nudge to become fully visible. Each Nudge will increase the Wild Multiplier by +1.

If more than one Multiplier reel is present in a pay way, then the multipliers will add to each other for a total multiplier.

xNudge Wilds can land on reel 4 only in Silent Hunter Free Spins.

The xNudge Feature is timeless. We’ve seen it many, many times before in lots of different slots from Nolimit City, but it never loses its appeal. If you’re familiar with the likes of Tombstone and Deadwood, then you’ll know just how important this feature can be.

xWays

The xWays symbol may land only on reels 2 and 5.

When this lands, it will reveal a random regular symbol. The size of the Symbol revealed may range from 2-3 symbols, so as a result, the ways to win will increase with xWays.

More than one of these may land at one time, and they’ll always reveal the same symbol.

The xWays mechanic may not have enjoyed as much popularity as the xNudge Wild, but it’s still an amazing feature. This is another we’ve seen a few times before but it’s still just as important here. Increasing the ways to win inevitably leads to bigger and better wins, so despite how often it’s been used, we’re happy to see it back.

xBomb Wild Multiplier

xBomb symbols blow away non-winning symbols except for Bonus and other Wild symbols, which makes room for new symbols to take their place. It also counts as a Wild and increments the multiplier by +1.

The multiplier obtained via the xBomb Wild Multiplier may be carried forward into Silent Hunter and Wolf Pack Free Spins if triggered on the same spin.

The xBomb feature is something we haven’t seen since it made its debut in Fire in the Hole xBomb. Can Das xBoot propel the popularity of this relatively new feature to greater heights?

Das xBoot: Free Spins

Das xBoot Free Spins are triggered by landing 3 or 4 Scatter Symbols on reels 2-5.

The bonus you receive will depend on how many Scatters you actually land. It wouldn’t be a Nolimit City slot if there weren’t different bonus rounds after all.

First up is Silent Hunter Free Spins, which you can trigger with 3 Scatters.

Silent Hunter Free Spins

In Silent Hunter Free Spins, the reel configuration becomes 2-3-8-4-3-2, and a new Periscope Wild Symbol may land on the tallest reel.

If symbols on reels 1 and 2 connect with a Periscope Wild on reels 3, then a Torpedo Launch Sequence is initiated. The Periscope will find a target and launch a torpedo, and if it hits the target then the Periscope Wild will grow all the way to the top position before nudging down to the bottom position while receiving a multiplier increase for each nudge.

Every time this Torpedo hits its target, a sticky win multiplier is awarded. This will increase the multiplier by +1 for the remainder of your spins.

If the target misses, then the Periscope Wild is treated as a single wild instead.

If an xBomb symbol lands on the reels then this too will award a sticky multiplier for the remainder of the spins when it explodes.

Wolf Pack Free Spins

Wolf Pack Free Spins are obtained by landing 4 Scatters within the Base Game.

When Wolf Pack Spins starts, you’ll notice a Torpedo tube under reels 2-5. In this mode, Torpedo Wilds can now land on the reels.

The aim of the game here is to fill up the 4 empty torpedo spaces so that it may launch. On reels 2 and 5, the Torpedo Wilds drop +1 xWays symbols into the torpedo area, and the first time a torpedo part lands it will award a +2 xWays symbol.

Reels 3 and 4 drops +1 xWays Wild symbols to the torpedo area, and the first time a Torpedo part lands it awards a +2 xWays Wild Symbol.

When all spaces are filled, the Torpedo launches and the xWays symbols are revealed behind the torpedo. On reels 2 and 5, they are transformed into regular symbols where they’ll split in the number of ways that were collected from the Torpedo Parts. Reels 2 and 3 will transform the symbols into Wilds and split them in the number of ways that were connected from the torpedo parts.

When the Torpedo launches a sticky multiplier will be awarded, which persists for the remainder of Free Spins. xBomb symbols also award a sticky multiplier, and if this lands at the same time as a torpedo part it will increase the xWays addition to the torpedo by +1.

Nolimit City slots are notorious for being incredibly complicated at times. Sometimes their genius is indecipherable, but Das xBoot is a lot simpler than the likes of Mental.

In our opinion, Das xBoot is yet another from Nolimit City to showcase their brilliance. You never know what quite to expect from this provider, and while others are busy on re-skinning slots, Nolimit City is busy creating something entirely new even though they’re using the very same features seen in previous slots.

xWays, xNudge and xBomb work brilliantly together here, and their inclusion within both Silent Hunter Spins and Wolf Pack Spins exponentially increases the potential for both bonuses.

Das xBoot may not be quite as volatile as the likes of Mental or San Quinten, but you can still count on seeing high volatility action when you play Das xBoot.

In a way, Das xBoot seems like an all or nothing slot. You’ll really want to see those Periscope Wilds in Silent Hunter Spins, and you’ll really want to fill them torpedo spaces in Wolf Pack Spins if you’re to see just how great Das xBoot can be.

Statistically speaking, Das xBoot looks pretty solid with a 96.03% RTP and yet another incredible maximum win potential of 55,200x.
