Join the Dragon Tribe Slot and tame these creatures of myth a Nolimit City red-hot release.
Nolimit City have been pulling out all the stops recently to bring a consistent range of quality games to the market, and always seem to do so in style.
Behind the fan favourites, Tombstone and Deadwood, Nolimit City have truly earned their place atop the list of reputable providers and players certainly hold them in high esteem.
Dragon Tribe is looking good from the start with such a big name behind it, but will you play with fire and get burned, or tame yourself some Dragons?
The graphics for Dragon Tribe is interesting with a fiery, stone age theme and it’s been designed really well. All of the symbols on the reel have that tribal feel to them and in the background, you’ll see the occasional dragon fly overhead.
Fire glows at the bottom of the reel and the floor in front of it is scattered with gold. The soundtrack is upbeat and empowering and works great in complimenting the fantasy theme, making the game more immersive.
Dragon Tribe is a 6-reel, 6-row video slot, with 4096 ways to win by default and cascading reels. Betting for this one starts from a low 0.20 and goes as high as 100 with many different options in between to cater for everyone.
15 Symbols in total make up the composition, top symbol is the fiery tribeswoman with other premium symbols made up of various dragons.
Featured within Dragon Tribe is also xNudge Wild symbols as well as an xWays Mystery symbol and of course, a bonus scatter. Low paying symbols are classic A, K, Q, J, 10 & 9.
Players outside of the UK will also be able to benefit from a bonus buy feature, which can be bought for 80x your current stake.
The Base Game of Dragon Tribe Slot
Dragon Tribe starts off with 4096 ways to win, so winning combinations only need be on consecutive reels starting from the left-most reel. We also have a cascading reel feature, so all wins will be removed from the board and the spaces will be filled with new symbols making it possible for multiple hits from one spin.
Nolimit City have also included some features that have become a mainstay of a lot of their games, and definitely cranks up the heat making the game that much more charismatic and interesting.
A Dragon’s egg will symbolise the xNudge Wild which will land onto the reel and start to drop down to the bottom position, increasing it’s multiplier by 1 for every step it drops. When it reaches the bottom, it will expand to cover the entire reel and can reach a maximum multiplier of 6x.
Multiple xNudge Wild symbols may appear and connecting multipliers will add together for a total win multiplier. xNudge wilds can only land on reels 2, 3, 4 & 5.
This feature can open up the game for some really big base hits, if you manage to get connecting wilds and good symbols, and it really keeps you interested. There’s nothing better than a game with interesting enough main game features that the bonus round isn’t the only desirable prospect.
xWays Mystery Symbol
A mystery symbol may appear on any of the reels and can hold 2 to 3 of the same symbol within it and will expand up to 6 symbols high. Multiple also may land during one spin, opening up the ways to win and giving those bigger hits when the symbols connect. xWays Mystery symbols can expand to give the potential for 20736 ways to win.
Dragon Tribe likes a good tease, when 2 symbols have landed, the remaining reels will dramatically tumble onto the board as you sit biting your nails waiting for that much needed third scatter to trigger the casino bonus. 10 Dragon spins will be awarded, and 3 additional spins will be given for any additional scatter after the third.
Nolimit City give players 2 different options to choose from, Dragon Spins, and Dragon Spins Extreme.
Dragon Spins is a less volatile version, where players can expect to win more often, but the win may not be huge. In this mode, only the xNudge feature is active so you won’t see 20736 ways to win here.
Every third winning cascade will turn one of the five dragons lining the side of the screen into Dragon Wilds for the rest of the bonus round, and will award +2 spins. The maximum win for this bonus is over 11,000x
Dragon Spins Extreme is a fiercely volatile version of Dragon Spins, and adds into the game the xWays Mystery Symbol.
The bonus here works much in the same way as its less volatile counterpart does, every third cascading win will turn one of the dragons wild and will also award +2 spins. In this mode, a minimum of one xWays Mystery symbols is guaranteed on each initial cascade. The maximum win for this bonus is huge with over 27,000x potential!
For both of the bonus games, you’ll want to keep landing those hits to accumulate as many of the Wild Dragons as you can. As you can tell from the max wins, both have mega potential.
Our Verdict of Dragon Tribe Slot
Dragon Tribe is a fine addition to the already impressive, Nolimit City portfolio. The game is a blazing hot, fast-paced game with exciting base game and bonus features.
The theme is fun, and has been pulled off in an articulate fashion leaving no doubt that Nolimit City spared no expense at making it visually aesthetic as well as intriguing to play.
Another nice addition is that 2 bonus modes were added, giving plays a choice between a less volatile version for those happier with the smaller and more frequent wins, with the potential still there for it to pay big, and a high volatile one for those after them huge hits.
Neither of the bonus rounds have a progressive multiplier, and you’ll be relying on the xWays Multiplier to substitute here if it lands.
Both bonus games can leave you a little frustrated when the flame fizzles into nothing, and its hard to fathom that 11,000x and 27,000x wins are even possible, but the game is high volatility, and the potential is definitely there when all Dragon Symbols are Wild and wins are appearing all over the place only to cascade and hit again.
Overall, people who enjoy Nolimit City instalments (and it’s hard not to) will definitely want to give this one a go.
At the end of the day, it all boils down to the fun factor, and Dragon Tribe definitely has it.
