Piggy Blitz Base Game and Features

Piggy Blitz is a 6-reel Video slot with 4,096 ways to win. Winning combinations are formed when 3 or more of the same symbols (or 2 or more of the highest-paying symbol) land from left to right, starting from the leftmost reel.

The minimum bet available here is £.€0.10 per spin and the maximum bet available is £.€100 per spin, with plenty of other options in between the two. This game has a theoretical RTP of 96.25% and a max win cap of 5,000x.

In terms of symbols, the highest-paying regular symbol here is the Diamond, followed by the Bell, Dice, and Piggy Chip. Low-paying symbols are standard Ace, King, Queen, Jack, and Ten. Wilds substitute for all other symbols except Scatters.

Piggy Blitz Feature

In the base game, special Cash Coin symbols with random values between 0.1x and 25x your bet can land across the reels. Minor, Major, and Mega Cash Coins may also land in view with values of 100x, 250x, and 1,000x your bet respectively.

Cash Coins are worthless until up to 1 Piggy Bank symbol lands on reels 1 or 6. Once this happens, all Cash Coin values in view will be collected and awarded. Minor, Major, and Mega Cash Coins, if in view, will also be collected.

Landing 3, 4, 5, or 6 Scatters on the reels during the base game triggers the Blitz Spinz Bonus.

Piggy Blitz: Our Verdict

Looks can certainly be deceiving, and Piggy Blitz looks much better than it plays, unfortunately. Simplicity is at the heart of Piggy Blitz which will appeal more to players who prefer their slots free from endless features and multiple Free Spins rounds.  The Piggy Blitz feature has its moments, but it does little to satisfy players looking for slots with big potential such as a Nolimit City title for example.

The Piggy Blitz feature is also the star of the show in Free Spins, where only Cash Coins and Piggy Bank symbols are in play. Triggering free spins with only 3 Scatters doesn’t amount to many Free Spins, but Play’n GO has given players the opportunity to bag themselves up to 50 Free Spins by landing 6 Scatters.

Cash Coin symbols can only award up to 25x your bet, so if you really want to hit the max win cap of 5,000x, you’re going to need to land the Minor, Major, or Mega Cash Coins if you are to get anywhere near it.

All in all, Piggy Blitz is a great choice for players looking for a chilled gaming experience or just starting out in the slots world, but if it’s potential you’re after Piggy Blitz may not be the best choice for you.
