3 Blazing Volcanoes Power Combo Slot Review
Three tiki-faced volcanoes smoke behind a weathered stone temple on a tropical island, a small idol at its base spilling gold coins from its mouth. The idol is the honest one here. 3 Blazing Volcanoes Power Combo is a game that constantly shows you progress that isn’t progress: the volcano meters overhead fill with every scatter, and they have no say in what actually happens. The colour of the scatter on the triggering spin is everything.
It’s a 5×3, 40-payline game from Infinity Dragon Studios, running at 96.49% RTP with medium volatility, and its maximum win is 10,525x the bet. The same scatter-colour engine drives Bears Make Bank! Power Combo and Zeus Lightning Riches Power Combo. Stakes run from 0.20 to 20.00 a spin.
Base Game & Features
The reels sit inside the temple wall, framed by pillars and banana leaves, with the ocean stretching out behind. Wins pay left to right across 40 fixed paylines, and around one spin in four returns something at the stated 25.60% hit frequency. With medium volatility behind it, that’s a steady rhythm rather than a feast-or-famine one.
Only the highest combination pays on any single line, so stacked wins across different lines are what build a decent return. The total payout is the sum of every line win from the spin, and payouts are based on the initial bet placed.
Wilds substitute for every symbol except scatters and appear in the base game only, though Power Combo scatters leave wilds behind when they land. Beyond that, the base game carries the three volcano scatters and nothing else, so the paytable does the quiet work between features.
Every symbol pays as a multiple of the total bet, tier by tier:
- Red Mask – two pays 0.1x, three pays 0.25x, four pays 0.75x, five pays 2x
- Blue Totem – two pays 0.1x, three pays 0.25x, four pays 0.5x, five pays 1.5x
- Purple Mask – three pays 0.25x, four pays 0.5x, five pays 1.25x
- Scorpion – three pays 0.15x, four pays 0.5x, five pays 1.25x
- Snake Coil and A – three pays 0.15x, four pays 0.4x, five pays 1x
- K, Q, J and 10 – three pays 0.1x, four pays 0.25x, five pays 0.75x
The ladder is flat from top to bottom, so line wins alone won’t move the balance much. Everything above the wild points towards the features.
3 Blazing Volcanoes Power Combo Volcano Features & Free Spins
Link&Win
Each Power Combo scatter that lands is collected by its matching volcano meter at the top of the reels. Any scatter can trigger the Link&Win round with its own feature, and the round begins with three respins and three coin symbols already on the reels.
From there it plays as a standard hold-and-respin. Every additional coin that lands holds in place for the rest of the round and resets the respins to three. Coins carry cash values, and some reveal one of the bonus prizes instead. Three respins in a row without a new coin ends the round, and everything on screen is paid.
The fixed prizes on the ladder are:
- Grand: 2500x total bet, won by filling every position on the grid
- Major: 250x total bet
- Minor: 50x total bet
Wins from the feature are added to any base game wins from the triggering spin, and the round can fire in the base game or during free spins.
Random Multiplier (Purple Scatter)
The purple scatter triggers Link&Win with a random multiplier of 2x, 3x or 5x attached to every spin. The multiplier boosts any coin prizes that land on that spin, and each coin’s value is multiplied only once. This variant carries 8.02% RTP.
Expanding Reels (Blue Scatter)
The blue scatter expands the Link&Win grid to a full 5×5 reel set, opening up far more positions for coins to fill. It’s the variant that makes the 2500x Grand genuinely reachable, and it accounts for 6.96% RTP.
Instant Collect (Red Scatter)
The red scatter adds a Collect symbol that can land on any reel. When it does, every coin on the reels is collected and paid at once, the Collect symbol itself turns into a coin with a random prize value, and the respins reset to three. It’s the leanest of the three at 3.00% RTP.
Combined Features
Land different coloured scatters on the same spin and the features combine:
- Purple + Red: Random Multiplier with Instant Collect
- Purple + Blue: Random Multiplier with Expanding Reels
- Blue + Red: Expanding Reels with Instant Collect
- Purple + Red + Blue: all three at once
The combined rounds are where the money sits: at 10.88% RTP, they return more than any single power, so chasing paired colours is real strategy rather than superstition.
Free Spins
Bonus symbols appear in the base game only, filling a meter that can award the Free Spins round. That round starts with five free spins and a raised chance of landing scatters, with collected scatters more likely to trigger Link&Win. Each Bonus symbol that lands during the round adds three extra spins, so a lucky streak can stretch it well past the opening five.
If Link&Win triggers during the free spins, it doesn’t interrupt them: it plays out in full once the free spins finish. The feature holds 2.25% RTP.
Our Honest Verdict
Overall Rating: 7.2/10
Time on this island is spent waiting for the right volcano. The base game is a wild, three scatters and a flat paytable, so most of a session is watching meters fill and glow while nothing is decided. That waiting is the whole pitch: one round at the top, reshuffled by whichever colour fires.
The reshuffling is real. Three colours give three genuinely different rounds, and the combined versions pay more than any single power, so there’s an actual reason to care about a purple landing next to a blue. The weakness is that the meters that promise so much between rounds are decoration.
It suits players who enjoy a quiet climb towards a round that never plays the same way twice. For everyone else, the island gives out exactly one thing, and it’s a good one when the right volcano blows.
