Base Game & Features
4TP Guns n’ Gold is a highly volatile Wild West slot from 4ThePlayer, consisting of 6 reels, 4 rows, and 4,096 ways to win. Paytable symbols connect on adjacent reels, from left to right, when 2-6 matching instances appear in a spin.
The highest-paying symbol falls to the Sheriff, followed by 2 Outlaws, Playing Cards, Whiskey, and A, K, Q, J, & 10 card suits. When a win is created, a fixed payout between 0.2x and 12x your bet is awarded, where applicable.
Additionally, Wild symbols appear on all reels except the first, substituting for all symbols except Scatters when completing a winning combination. Lastly, Scatter symbols are responsible for triggering the Free Spins mode.
Golden Reel & Feature Pots
Throughout gameplay, reel 6 may activate as the Golden Reel. Once transformed into a Golden Reel, Collect, Token Blast, & Scatter symbols can be revealed, alongside regular paytable symbols.
Token Blast symbols contribute towards triggering the individual Feature Pots above the reels, of which there are 4 available:
- Bonus: Guarantees access to the Cash Combo Free Spins mode.
- Nudge: Guarantees to nudge 1 or more partially-stacked Cash Prizes until fully in view, allowing their values to be awarded by the Cash Collect feature.
- Takedown: Causes all Cash Prizes to be collected on a single reel, where they will disappear, causing new symbols to drop in from above. If more Cash Prizes appear from the drop, these will also be collected.
- Multiplier: A random Multiplier between 1.5x and 5x your bet is applied to all Cash Prizes on the reels. The Multiplier feature is only applied to Cash Prizes from the triggering spin and not future ones, unless triggered again.
When the Multiplier reaches the maximum value, it will continue to collect Token Blast symbols, but the maximum value will not progress any further. After the Multiplier Feature is triggered, its value will reset to 1.5x your bet – this includes the Free Spins & Cash Combo Bonus.
Cash Collect Feature
During a game session, individual Cash Prizes & 4 Bandit Bounties can appear on the reels. Bandit Bounties reveal a Jackpot Prize of Mini (25x), Super (75x), Mega (200x), and Ultra (2,000x).
Cash Prizes & Bandit Bounties are awarded when a Collect Scatter appears on the Golden Reel (reel 6). Alternatively, if 4 Cash Prizes appear on the same reel, their values are combined and awarded instantly.
4TP Guns n’ Gold Free Spins
Landing 3 or more Scatters in the base game triggers the Free Spins mode, awarding 4 Free Spins, plus additional spins for any Scatters that land on the Golden Reel during the triggering spin.
In this mode, Feature Pots can trigger as standard, except for the Bonus Feature Pot. Throughout this feature, landing 2 or more Scatters on reels 1-5 will award +1 Free Spin and the Golden Reel, where additional Scatters may land.
Cash Combo Bonus
Triggering the Bonus Feature Pot is guaranteed to award 5, 7, 10, or 15 Cash Spins.
During this mode, only Cash Prizes, Collect symbols, & Bandit Prizes can appear on the reels, whilst Feature Pots can trigger as normal throughout. If the Bonus Feature Pot is awarded during this time, additional Cash Spins are awarded.
Bonus Buy
Players may purchase one of the following Bonus Buy options:

Our Honest Verdict
4TP Guns n’ Gold will certainly get you in the mood for some good ol’ fashioned gunslinging, offering an insightful Wild West setting and impressive aesthetics. As expected, 4ThePlayer has introduced a number at the start of the title, but it doesn’t reference anything relating to gameplay, but rather an abbreviation of 4ThePlayer itself.
Following the trend of the ‘3 Pots’ mechanic, 4TP Guns n’ Gold offers a special Token Collection scheme, separate from the Cash Collect Feature, similar to 3 Magic Pots & Lab of Madness: It’s a Wild.
Although Games Global and the individual partner studios they work with are home to a vast majority of ‘3 pots’ games, it’s nice to see providers like 4ThePlayer put their own stamp and style onto it, but does it work in 4TP Guns n’ Gold?
Instead of individual Feature Pots catering to multiple Free Spins modes, 3 of the 4 Feature Pots are responsible for random Modifiers. The Free Spins mode is available separately in the base game, whilst the Cash Combo Bonus can be triggered through the Feature Pots mechanic.
The Cash Combo Bonus allows players to collect random Cash Prizes or Bandit Bounties, similar to the Hold & Win mechanic, only you’re guaranteed Free Spins instead of refilling Lives. We’ll admit, we were quick to judge this bonus after iSoftBet wore it out all those years ago, but our perception of this feature quickly changed.
Having the individual Feature Pots and their abilities to trigger Nudge, Takedown, & Multiplier modifiers makes the 12,000x max win potential feel all the more achievable. All in all, 4TP Guns n’ Gold offers an exciting Wild West experience with iconic features, mechanics, and rewarding payouts.
