Bass Cash Christmas X UP is the rare festive reskin that earns its tinsel: where most Christmas slots bolt a snow effect onto an engine that didn’t need one, this one hands its ladder over piece by piece and lets the season be the backdrop rather than the point.

The X UP Trail
X UP is the system the whole game is built around: a six-level multiplier trail fed by tokens. Pairs of Red Scatters anywhere on the reels collect one token each, and the tokens climb the trail in fixed steps:

- Level 3: 3 tokens, 3x
- Level 4: 6 tokens, 5x

Blue Scatters are the permanent half of the system. They appear on reels 1 and 5 in the base game only, and each pair upgrades one trail multiplier for good, working from level 6 downwards. Each level can be upgraded once, level 6 twice, and once the whole trail is blue a further pair lifts the top multiplier to 15x.
After that, Blue Scatters leave the reels entirely. A Gold Scatter on reel 1 cashes in differently: it applies the current X UP multiplier to any cash and jackpot prizes on the reels, base game only, without spending the build. Red Scatters also pay as scatter wins, multiplied by the total bet.
Free Spins
Three or more Red Scatters trigger 8 free spins, with whatever X UP level you’ve reached active from the first spin. Tokens carry in, more can be collected during the round, and the active multiplier applies to all cash and jackpot prizes.
Red Scatters shrink to reels 1 and 5 during the feature, where a pair awards 2 extra spins and 1 token. There’s no full retrigger, and the round plays out automatically at the triggering bet. When free spins finish, collected tokens reset. The permanent Blue Scatter upgrades are the only part of the build that survives.
Upsizer

Bonus symbols can land on any reel in the base game, and each one fills an empty slot above its reel. Fill all five and the Bass Cash Bonus begins: an expanded Fisherman takes over reel 1 while reels 2 to 5 spin in nothing but cash prizes and trophies.
Every cash prize that lands is collected, and the round runs until any three matching trophies arrive, at which point the matching jackpot is paid on top of everything collected. The slots reset on return to the base game.

This is a game about the long build. You’ll spend most of a session watching a quiet frozen lake, nudging one ladder up a level at a time, and if that sounds like a complaint it isn’t: the reason to pick this over its many siblings is that the lake genuinely gets better the longer you stay on it.
The permanent upgrades are the best thing here. Blue Scatter pairs stick for good and the Gold Scatter pays out the multiplier without costing the build, so nothing you earn in the base game is wasted. The sting is the token reset on the way out of free spins, which hands back the half you climbed that day.
