Bonus Wild 81 Extralines Slot Review
Heavy crimson curtains swag and pool behind a polished wooden stage lip, and on that stage sits a fruit machine dressed for opening night, a gold-tasselled scroll banner hanging beside the cabinet with the title embossed in gold. Bonus Wild 81 Extralines hides its sharpest idea inside its tamest-looking cabinet: the base paytable is one of the shallowest you’ll meet on four reels, and the game is counting on the bonus round’s 81 lines to make up for it.
It’s a FAZI release on a 4×3 grid with 20 paylines, running at 96.52% RTP, with three progressive jackpots taking small slices of that return. The dressing is old. The arithmetic underneath isn’t.
Base Game & Features
Four reels by three rows, with the first twenty paylines in play. It’s a compact grid, and the paytable matches it: four paying symbols, one of them a mixed fruit tier, and modest multiples all the way up. Wins pay left to right across the lines.
Only the highest winning combination on each payline counts, so a line holding both 7s and a mixed fruit run pays the 7s and nothing else. Line wins across different paylines add together, which on a four-reel grid is where the bigger base wins come from: several lines paying small amounts at once rather than one line paying large.
The full ladder, as multiples of the line bet:
- 7 – 12.5x for three, 25x for four
- Bell or Grapes – 6x for three, 12.5x for four
- Watermelon – 3x for three, 6x for four
- Mixed Fruit (cherry, plum, orange or lemon) – 1.5x for three, 3x for four
Four tiers is a shallow ladder, but it’s an honest one. The top symbol at 25x is low by the standards of anything with five reels, and even a full grid of 7s across twenty lines would need every line to hit to amount to anything dramatic. The game’s real money isn’t in the base paytable.
The wild helps more than its paytable absence suggests. Wilds land on the second and third reels only, substituting for every symbol except the Bonus. With both of those reels carrying a wild, four-of-a-kind wins complete on many lines at once, which is where the base game’s better moments come from.
Progressive Jackpots
Platinum, Gold and Diamond jackpots run alongside the reels, each carrying a fixed award that increments as a percentage of every bet feeds the pot. They’re mystery jackpots rather than symbol-triggered ones, so a drop can arrive on any spin regardless of what the grid shows.
The slices of the return are small: 0.03% for Platinum, 0.06% for Gold and 0.05% for Diamond. Combined they add up to well under a seventh of one percent, which keeps the headline RTP honest while the pots build in the background.
Gamble
After any win, an x2 button opens a red-or-black gamble. A correct call doubles the gambled amount; a wrong one loses it and ends the round. The choice is a straight coin flip with no skill element, so doubling is exactly as likely as losing everything staked.
Gamble wins cap at 50,000.00, and that cap is the only hard ceiling the game carries anywhere. Above it, the gamble simply closes and pays out. On a paytable where four 7s pay 25x the line bet, the cap sits far out of reach of ordinary play, so it exists mostly to bound the feature in law rather than in practice.
Bonus Wild 81 Extralines Free Spins & Bonus Features
Three Bonus symbols anywhere on the reels spin a wheel to decide the award. Four Bonus symbols skip the wheel entirely and go straight to the top end of the range:
- 3 Bonus symbols – wheel spin awards 8, 10, 12 or 15 free spins
- 4 Bonus symbols – awards 10, 15, 20 or 25 free spins directly
The wheel is a nice piece of theatre on a game that already has curtains, and the spread it governs is real: landing the 3-symbol trigger means anything from 8 to 15 spins, a near-doubling of the round’s length decided by a single pointer. The 4-symbol route takes the wheel out of it and lifts the whole range.
The bonus game is where the title earns its name. Paylines jump from twenty to 81 for the duration of the free spins, more than quadrupling the ways each spin can pay. Nothing else about the round changes, so the entire upgrade is geometric: same grid, same symbols, four times the lines.
That has a quiet consequence for the paytable. Every win in the bonus is still governed by the same shallow ladder, but with 81 lines live, clusters of small line wins stack up in ways the base game can’t manage. The mixed fruit tier at 1.5x, nearly pocket change in the base game, becomes a building block when it lands on a dozen lines at once.
Buy Bonus
There’s a Buy Bonus button in the top-right corner of the cabinet, and it sells the round in two grades:
- 3-symbol trigger – 50.00x total bet
- 4-symbol trigger – 80.00x total bet
The premium on the four-symbol route buys entry at the top of the spin range, up to 25 free spins with all 81 lines live from the first drop. It’s the difference between a floor of 10 spins and a floor of 15, and a ceiling that climbs from 15 to 25.
For a player who has already decided to buy, that difference is the whole decision. The cheaper trigger leaves a third or more of the round’s potential on the wheel; the dearer one removes the wheel from the purchase and guarantees the upper half of the range.
Our Honest Verdict
Overall Rating: 7.1/10
Playing this is an evening at a theatre where the interval is longer than the show. You spin, small wins trickle, and the velvet and the gold banner keep you company while the wheel or a jackpot drop decides whether the night amounts to anything. That’s the whole reason to choose it: the wait has genuine stagecraft around it, and when the free spins arrive, the lights come up.
The 81-line bonus is the strength, and it’s earned rather than decorative – same shallow paytable, four times the lines, so the fruit that paid nothing all evening suddenly pays everywhere at once. The weakness is everything outside that round. The base ladder tops out at 25x and never lets you forget it.
This suits fruit-machine traditionalists who like a long build and don’t need five reels to feel entertained. Anyone chasing big base hits or modern mechanics will find the curtains close early. For the audience it’s built for, the show’s worth the ticket.
