Destiny Joker Megaways Slot Review
A jester girl kneels beside an open treasure chest on a golden casino stage, one gloved hand raised over the coins spilling from it, a gilt-framed jackpot ladder stacked above her head. Destiny Joker Megaways hides nearly all of its real game in the four symbols above the reels – strip away that Extra Reel and you’re left with a fruit machine in fancy dress, which is exactly why that strip deserves your attention.
The commitment to the bit is what makes it work. This isn’t a lazy joker theme – the marquee bulbs, the gold star finial and the BONUS! lettering all pull in the same direction. Infinity Dragon Studios build it on a 6×3 grid with up to 117,649 ways to win, an Extra Reel over the middle reels, medium volatility and an RTP of 95.98%. Stakes run from 0.10 to 20.00 per spin, and it sits alongside Zeus Lightning Riches Power Combo and Wild Stacks Super Spins in the studio’s catalogue. The chest promises plenty; what’s inside is the question.
Base Game & Features
Wins pay left to right on adjacent reels, and only the highest combination per way counts. The grid itself is six reels by three rows, but an Extra Reel sits above reels two to five, adding a symbol to each. That’s what pushes a reel from three symbols up to seven and opens the full 117,649 ways.
The reels carry crowns, sevens, fruit and the K, J and 10 royals – a straight fruit-machine lineup wearing the carnival costume. Ways wins are multiplied by the bet multiplier, and a spin’s total payout is the sum of all way wins plus any Scatter wins. If several winning combinations land on one way, only the best one pays.
Rolling Reels
Every winning spin sets off Rolling Reels. Winning symbols are removed and new ones drop in, so a single spin can chain several wins in a row. The feature runs in both the base game and free spins.
The Wild substitutes for everything except the Scatter, and it only appears on the Extra Reel – which makes that top strip of symbols far more important than its four positions suggest.
Bonus Prize Pick Game
This is the base game’s heartbeat. Every spin, Wilds landing on the Extra Reel are collected throughout the Rolling Reels chain. Once the rolls finish, there’s a chance the Bonus Prize Pick Game triggers – and the more Wilds collected, the better that chance gets.
Twelve Prize Boxes appear, closed, each tied to one of four prizes:
- GRAND – the top Bonus Prize
- MAJOR – second on the ladder
- MINOR – third on the ladder
- MINI – the entry prize
Open boxes until three matches are revealed; that prize is awarded and the feature ends. Bonus Prize wins are multiplied by the total bet, and the pick game can trigger in free spins too. It carries 5.38% of the game’s overall return on its own.
The pick game breaks down into a simple sequence:
- Rolling Reels play out, collecting every Wild that lands on the Extra Reel
- The collection is weighed, and the pick game either triggers or doesn’t
- Twelve closed boxes appear, each hiding one of the four Bonus Prizes
- Boxes are selected one at a time until three matching prizes are showing
- The matched prize pays out, multiplied by the total bet, and the feature ends
The whole round resolves from a single base spin. A Wild-heavy chain of rolls can lift the trigger chance even on a spin that only paid modestly on the reels themselves, which is why the Extra Reel earns so much attention during ordinary play.
Destiny Joker Megaways Free Spins
Four Scatters trigger 12 Free Spins, and every extra Scatter on the triggering spin adds five more. Inside the round, Scatters appear on the Extra Reel only – three of them retrigger five spins, four retrigger ten.
The multiplier is the headline act. It starts at 1x and increments after every roll of the Rolling Reels, with no cap. A long chain of rolls inside free spins is where the big results live, and every spin plays at the triggering bet.
The trigger ladder in full:
- 4 Scatters – 12 Free Spins to start
- Each extra Scatter on the trigger – 5 additional spins
- 3 Scatters during the round – 5 more spins
- 4 Scatters during the round – 10 more spins
Free Spins contribute 13.19% of the game’s total return. Combined with the pick game’s 5.38%, that leaves the base game carrying the majority of the 95.98% on its own rolls and ways wins.
Controls & Spin Options
The spin button starts a reel spin, and the stop button cuts it short without influencing the result. A click or tap on the reels does the same. Autoplay is base game only, with the usual controls attached:
- Number of Auto Spins – sets the length of the session
- Stop on Big Win – halts autoplay when a big win lands
- Loss Limit – ends the session if the balance drops by a set amount
Quickspin and Turbospin resolve spins faster without changing results, and the spacebar can be set to start or stop a spin. None of it touches the maths – it’s pace control, nothing more. Big win animations can be switched off in settings, alongside the usual sound and spin-speed toggles.
Our Honest Verdict
Overall Rating: 7.1/10
This is a game you play with your eyes on the top row. The joker and her chest are the poster, but the session itself is quiet counting – Wilds banking on the Extra Reel, rolls chaining, a spin that paid almost nothing on the grid suddenly opening twelve boxes. That’s the reason to pick it: ordinary spins keep mattering.
The pick game is the cleverest part of the build, because it turns Wild collection into suspense that pays out whether or not free spins ever arrive. The counterweight is the top stake: stakes stop at 20.00, so the ladder’s promise stays vague no matter how good the round looks.
It suits players who enjoy watching a mechanic accumulate – the count climbing, the multiplier ticking – far more than anyone after one decisive monster hit. For the patient, the joker’s chest does get opened, just a few coins at a time.
