Fortune Treasure Pot Slot Review
Fortune Treasure Pot spends more of its design budget on the frame than on the reels. Behind the 5×3 grid sits a dusk cityscape of amber-lit towers, and beside it a great blue cauldron spilling gold coins, while the reels themselves carry nothing but 7s, BARs, bells and cherries. It’s a classic slot cosplaying as something grander, and the illusion mostly works.
The reason it works is the pot. Black Lagoon Games have built a classic slot with one modern hook, and the hook does all the work: a 5×3 grid, 10 paylines, an RTP of 96.00%, and a treasure pot with a 10,000x ceiling that’s far bigger than anything else here. It sits alongside Monster King of Cheese and Sevens Cash in the studio’s catalogue.
Strip the skyline away and you’re left with 7s, BARs, bells and cherries, plus one feature that decides whether the pot boils over.
How Fortune Treasure Pot Pays
Wins land on 10 fixed paylines, and every winning run has to start on the far-left reel and run consecutively along an active line. Where two combinations land on the same line, only the higher one counts. There’s no wild and no scatter in the usual sense; the coins and the Bull Coin carry the special work, and they belong to the pot rather than the paytable.
The paytable is a classic in miniature, four symbol tiers and nothing else. Every value below is a multiple of the total bet, not the line bet:
- 7s (green, red and blue) – 2x, 4x and 10x the total bet for three, four and five
- BAR – 0.6x, 2.4x and 7.2x
- Bell – 0.4x, 1.6x and 4.8x
- Cherry – 0.2x, 0.8x and 3.2x
All displayed prizes are totals, with any applicable multipliers already folded in, so the number shown is the number that lands in the balance. The jump within each tier is steep, too: five 7s pay five times what four of them do, and the same ratio holds down the ladder. The symbols themselves split into two families:
- Three 7 symbols – green, red and blue – all paying at the top tier
- BAR, Bell and Cherry filling out the mid and lower tiers
- Coin symbols, which pay nothing on the lines but collect towards the pot
- Bull Coin, the single-symbol pot trigger
The line-based structure means position matters as much as symbols do. A cherry on the rightmost reel contributes nothing on its own; the same cherry opening a run from reel one can finish a paying combination. Paylines 1 through 10 criss-cross the 5×3 grid in the usual patterns, and a spin pays out on every line that completes at once.
Bet levels are selected through the on-screen menu, with the stake adjustable up and down before each spin. The game deducts the total bet when the spin starts. Autoplay is there for the patient, in set runs:
- 10 spins
- 25 spins
- 50 spins
- 100 spins
- 500 spins
The counter shows what’s left of the run, and a stop button ends it whenever you like. Spacebar works as the spin button if you’d rather keep off the mouse.
The Treasure Pot Feature
This is the whole reason the game exists. The pot is a prize ladder that runs from 5x the bet up to the 10,000x GRAND, and everything on screen outside the reels exists to point at it. There are two ways in:
- Four or more coins landing anywhere on the screen at once can trigger the treasure pot prize
- A single Bull Coin symbol landing anywhere triggers the feature on its own
Either route draws the prize from the same ladder, and more coins mean a bigger prize. The step from a 5x floor to a 10,000x GRAND is the whole width of the game’s ambition, and the number of coins on the screen when the feature fires is what decides where on that ladder you land.
It’s worth spelling out how a typical trigger plays out. Coins land as ordinary reel symbols during the base spin, paying nothing on the lines. If four or more of them finish on screen together, the pot fires and a prize drops from the ladder. The Bull Coin works differently: one is enough, wherever it sits, and it doesn’t need company.
That makes the Bull Coin the rarer and more welcome sight, since it can arrive on an otherwise dead spin and still open the ladder. The ordinary coin route rewards screens that fill up, and the two triggers together mean no spin is entirely without a route in while the coins keep appearing.
The side panel keeps the ladder in view at all times. Red arrows climb towards the GRAND prize, shown at 10,000x, above a glowing column of lower prize tiers, with the cauldron sitting underneath, coins spilling around its feet.
That visibility is deliberate. Every coin that lands while you’re chasing line wins is quietly feeding the thing you’re actually here for, and the ladder’s top rung stays worth chasing because the gap between it and the floor is enormous.
There is nothing else bolted on. No free spins round, no picker game, no second screen. Fortune Treasure Pot is a line-pays slot with one collection feature, and the 10,000x GRAND is the game’s maximum win.
Our Honest Verdict
Overall Rating: 7/10
Playing this is mostly waiting in a very nice room. Spins tick by on 7s and cherries, the city glows, the cauldron sits there, and you’re really watching for coins to stack up. That patience is the whole draw: it’s a single-chase game, and the chase is a good one.
The strength is the ladder’s range. A floor of 5x and a ceiling of 10,000x on the same feature means every trigger carries real suspense, and the Bull Coin can rescue an otherwise dead spin, which keeps even quiet stretches awake. The weakness is everything else: four symbol tiers and one feature leave the base game with almost nothing to say for itself, and once you’ve seen the pot fire, you’ve seen the game.
If you like one clear objective with a big ceiling over it, and don’t need free spins or second screens to stay interested, this pot is worth a look. Players who want variety in their features will be bored before the cauldron warms up.
