Gunslinger Glory Slot Review
Gunslinger Glory doesn’t think you came for the reels, and it isn’t shy about it. The base game pays like a courtesy – three of the top symbol returns 0.24x your bet – while every real question is stacked into three wagon counters on the left of the screen and left to tick. Whether a slot can hold your interest for hundreds of mostly-losing spins on the promise of a single feature round is a fair argument, and this one bets the whole saloon that it can.
It runs on a 5×4 grid with medium volatility and a 95.98% RTP, hitting winning spins roughly 38.46% of the time. Stakes start at 0.25 and top out at 150. Boomerang have covered similar collecting ground in 3 Wonders Mystic Howl, Elemental Forces Embers and Knight’s Gold Rush 3 Cycle, and this one follows the same instinct: stack the interest in the feature.
Base Game & Features
Five reels, four rows, and a pace that never hurries. The extra row gives symbols more room to land without changing the fundamentals: wins are line-based, small, and frequent for a medium-volatility game, with the hit rate doing steady work between features. Four rows of western iconography means a busy screen, but the game never crowds you.
An example of the scale: three Wanted symbols return 0.24x the total bet. That sets the tone for what the reels offer on their own. The full set of recorded pays is thin, and there’s no pretending otherwise:
- Wanted – three pays 0.24x your total bet
That’s the entire recorded ladder, and it isn’t a lot of ladder. The reels aren’t where this game keeps its promises, and the sooner you stop expecting them to, the better it plays. What the base game does instead is collect.
The Counters and the Chamber
The more interesting furniture sits at the bottom left of the reels. Three wagons track counters, and each one carries a running tally during play – the observed count sits at 20 per wagon:
- Extra Spin wagon – counts what feeds the feature round’s spin total
- Big Prize wagon – counts what feeds the per-coin prize boosts
- Win Multi wagon – counts what feeds the round’s total multiplier
They’re not decoration. Everything the base game accumulates feeds the feature those counters belong to, which gives even losing spins a small sense of progress. A dead spin still moves a number somewhere.
The chamber is the other piece worth watching. It empties as you play, and emptying it is what unlocks the feature round. That’s the whole loop: spin, collect, empty, trigger. Simple. It works.
Gunslinger Glory Bonus Features: 3 Wonders Super Spins
Empty the chamber and the 3 Wonders Super Spins round begins. The reels give way to a chest reveal grid: three columns of reveal frames set across a five-column board, with chests landing in the frames at columns one, three and four. The round then plays out in the same repeating pattern:
- Each chest that lands reveals as one of three types – Extra Spin, Big Prize or Win Multi
- Coins collect on the board carrying their own cash values, arranged in a 3×3 grid with a character multiplier at the centre
- Big Prize and Win Multi chests push those coin values up; Extra Spin chests keep the round going
- When the spins run out, the coins pay out at whatever value they’ve reached
Every chest type does one specific job:
- Extra Spin chest – awards one extra spin
- Big Prize chest – adds up to 4x extra prize to each coin
- Win Multi chest – increments the total multiplier, from x2 upward
Extra Spin Chest
Each Extra Spin chest adds one spin to your total, incrementing the counter on the Extra Spin wagon. It’s the plainest of the three rewards, and the one that keeps the round alive long enough for the other two to matter. Without extra spins, the round simply runs out of road.
Big Prize Chest
Each Big Prize chest adds up to 4x extra prize to each coin on the board. Because every coin carries its own value and the character multiplier sits at the centre of the 3×3 grid, a single chest lifts the whole board at once. This is where the round’s money lives.
Win Multi Chest
Each Win Multi chest increments the total multiplier, starting at x2 and climbing from there. It applies across the coin values, stacking with whatever the Big Prize chests have already done. Late in a long round, that’s where the numbers move.
The three chest types don’t compete; they compound. Extra Spins buy time, Big Prize chests fatten the coins, and Win Multi chests multiply whatever’s left standing. A round that finds all three in quantity is a round that builds on itself, layer on layer.
On the ceiling, there’s no dodging it: the maximum win is 1,273x your stake. What the round can pay is a function of how many coins land, how hard the Big Prize chests push them, and how high the multiplier climbs before the spins run dry.
Our Honest Verdict
Overall Rating: 6.3/10
Playing Gunslinger Glory is mostly waiting, and the game is honest enough to show you the waiting: three wagons fill, a chamber drains, and the reels between are just the tax you pay. That visible build is the one reason to pick it. When the round finally comes, the chests compound properly, and a lucky sequence of Big Prize and Win Multi reveals can pay for a lot of dry spins before it.
The cost is everything outside that round. A paytable with one symbol on it, base wins that barely cover their stake, and a maximum win capped at 1,273x the stake – there’s a stretch of every session where nothing is happening and the wagons are the only scenery.
This is one for patient players, the type who enjoy watching a meter fill and don’t need the reels to earn their keep. Anyone after frequent feature hits or a busy paytable won’t find it here. But if a long ride to one big showdown sounds like a good evening, Gunslinger Glory keeps its powder dry and pays it out in full.
