Each reel has a gargoyle perched above it, holding three small cups. Whenever a Wild Soul symbol lands, it’s copied up into the cup belonging to its reel, and the symbol itself stays on the grid doing its usual wild work. Nothing is spent by the copy; it’s a bonus on top.

Fill all three cups on one gargoyle and it spawns a Wild Reel across that entire reel, with a multiplier equal to the sum of the three collected Wild Soul values. The bigger the souls, the bigger the reel it buys you.

The collected souls are consumed when the Wild Reel spawns, so the cups start again from empty. In the base game the Wild Reel holds for as long as it’s useful and the cycle repeats.

Hades Harvest Bonus Games

The Bonus symbol only appears in the base game, with a maximum of one per reel, so triggering either bonus is a matter of stacking three or four of them across separate reels. The two rounds share most of their bones, but the difference between them matters more than it first looks.

Hades Harvest spends most of its time being a quiet game. The line wins are small, the gargoyles take their time filling their cups, and the Styx drifts past at its own pace. The reason to sit through that is the build itself: every collected soul is a step towards something, and a bonus round that starts empty can finish with half the grid wild.

That escalation is the best thing here. Sticky Wild Reels that stack their multipliers additively mean a loaded round doesn’t need luck to stay loaded – it only needs luck to get there, which is also the honest weakness: the base game’s pays are thin enough that the walk between bonuses can feel long, and the royals won’t soften it.

It’s a good fit for players who like watching a machine fill up and paying for the privilege in patience. Anyone after quick, regular hits will find the cavern cold. For the rest, the crossing is worth the fare – the ferryman just expects to be paid in souls, and in his own time.
