Midas Hype House

Midas Hype House Slot Review

A marble temple, a turquoise pool, and an inflatable flamingo bobbing beside the statues: Midas Hype House throws a pool party in ancient Greece and doesn’t clean up afterwards. Bunches of grapes hang over the top of the reels and a toppled wine bottle spills across the tiled floor. It’s ridiculous, and it knows it.

The surprise is how well it works. Fantasma Games has taken the Midas legend and given it cartoon nightclub energy, and the gold-obsessed king turns out to be a natural fit for a Coin-collecting slot. The game runs on a 4-3-3-3-4 grid with 432 ways to win, a 96.50% RTP, medium volatility and a 5,000x maximum win, with stakes from 0.10 to 3,000 per spin.

There’s a lot going on here, though. Plenty of systems run alongside the main bonus, and they’re what decide whether this party is worth gatecrashing.

Base Game & Features

The grid shape is the first thing you notice. The outer reels are taller than the three in the middle, which looks odd for a few spins and then just becomes the game. Wins pay across 432 ways, and they land often enough that the reels rarely feel dead.

The Wild substitutes for all regular symbols in win evaluations. That’s its whole job, and it does it without ceremony.

Everything else in the base game runs through Coins and Collect symbols. Each Coin carries a value, and you can only win those values by landing one or two Collect symbols, or by reaching the bonus game. Two Collects trigger the Respin.

• Wild – substitutes for all regular symbols
• Coin – carries a cash value, won via Collect symbols or the bonus game
• Collect – one Collect can bank a Coin win or climb the ladder; two trigger the Respin
• Bonus symbol – three award the Bonus Spins; one or two fill the Key meter
• Jackpot Coin – Grand, Major or Mini prize, available in both game modes

The meters are kept visually separate, which helps: the Key meter and the Multiplier Ladder sit in their own spaces rather than crowding the reels. Bet controls and Fast Play are straightforward, and the AutoPlay settings run to single win limits, win limits and loss limits, so longer sessions can be fenced off properly.

Respin

When two Collect symbols land on reels 1 and 5, both expand and trigger the Respin. The middle section of the grid expands with them, adding two extra reels, and during the respin only Coins and Jackpots appear. Everything that lands gets collected.

The expansion reads as a genuine event. The grid suddenly grows, the audio steps up, and it’s obvious what you’re chasing. The presentation does more work than the result usually demands, in the best way.

Multiplier Ladder

When exactly one Collect symbol lands and no Coin win is triggered, the ladder climbs by one step, from x1 to a maximum of x5. The multiplier activates when you win any feature involving Coins, except the Bonus Spins.

At x1 or x2 the ladder is background information. Once it climbs higher, every lone Collect symbol becomes interesting, because the next Coin feature could be worth several times more. It gives losing spins a small job to do.

Key Meter

Every Bonus symbol that appears without triggering the bonus game fills the Key meter. When a key unlocks, the next bonus game you win starts with one level already opened. Near-misses stop being wasted spins, which matters more than it sounds during a dry stretch.

Jackpot Coins

All three Jackpot tiers can appear in both the base game and the bonus game. In practice the Mini behaves like a realistic target, while the Grand sits in the background as the dream outcome. A secondary chase, and a live one.

Midas Hype House Bonus Spins

Three Bonus symbols in the base game award the Bonus Spins, and this is the feature the whole game builds towards. You start with three spins, and every time any symbol lands except a Non-winning symbol, the counter resets to three. Three consecutive non-winning spins, or a fully filled grid, ends the round.

It’s a hold-and-respin structure with four unlockable levels. Keys collected from the Key meter are spent immediately on entry to unlock extra rows, so the near-misses banked in the base game pay off before a single bonus spin has landed.

More rows do more than add space. Every extra level widens the board the Key symbols and Coins have to work with, and a bigger board means more positions for Midas Collect patterns to reach. Unlocking a level mid-round can change what an existing Coin is worth, because new Collect placements suddenly reach it.

Special Symbols

• Midas Collect – collects all Coins in a cross-shaped pattern, so where it lands matters
• Multipliers – x2, x3 or x4, applied to your collected total
• Key – unlocks additional rows mid-round
• Jackpot Coins – the Grand, Major and Mini prizes
• Non-winning symbol – the only symbol that doesn’t reset the spin counter

The Midas Collect is the pick of them. Because it takes Coins in a cross pattern, positioning genuinely matters: a Coin in the right spot is worth more than the same Coin elsewhere. Most collect-style bonuses ignore where things land. This one doesn’t.

A round typically plays out in beats. Early spins establish Coins and hunt for resets; a Key landing opens another row and widens the board; a Multiplier arrives and quietly revalues everything already collected. The spin counter does the rest, holding the tension each time it drops to one.

There’s no bonus buy or enhanced bet here. Everything has to be spun into naturally, which suits this particular game: the Key meter and the Multiplier Ladder only make sense if you’re playing the base game over time.

Our Honest Verdict

Midas Hype House is a Coin collector with unusually good habits. Most games in this family give you a base game that exists only to wait through, but here almost every spin feeds something: a lone Collect climbs the ladder, a missed Bonus symbol fills the Key meter, and two Collects can set off the Respin out of nowhere.

The Bonus Spins are the strongest part of the design. Four unlockable levels, mid-round keys and the cross-pattern Midas Collect give the round real progression, and the near-miss forgiveness built in through the Key meter makes long sessions easier to justify. Against that, the 5,000x ceiling is modest by modern standards, and there’s a lot to learn in the first five minutes for what is, underneath it all, a fairly simple Coin game. Players chasing huge multiplier explosions will find it restrained.

For anyone who likes collect-and-hold formats with persistent progression between bonuses, this is one of the more thoughtful examples. It’s deliberately silly, unexpectedly cohesive, and the party doesn’t outstay its welcome. The Midas touch, it turns out, works fine in flip-flops.

Midas Hype House FAQs

• What is the RTP of Midas Hype House?

Midas Hype House runs at 96.50% RTP.
• What is the maximum win in Midas Hype House?

The maximum win is 5,000x your bet.
• How do you trigger the Bonus Spins in Midas Hype House?

Land three Bonus symbols in the base game. You start with three spins, and every winning symbol that lands resets the counter to three. The round only ends when the spins run out three times in a row or every position is filled.
• What does the Key Meter do?

Bonus symbols that land short of the trigger aren’t wasted – they fill the Key meter instead. When a key unlocks, the next Bonus Spins round you win starts with one level already opened, giving you extra rows from the first spin.
• How does the Multiplier Ladder work?

A single Collect symbol with no Coin win triggered climbs the multiplier one step, from x1 up to x5. It applies to any feature you win involving Coins, except the Bonus Spins.
• What triggers the Respin in Midas Hype House?

Two Collect symbols landing on reels 1 and 5. Both expand, the middle section of the grid adds two extra reels, and only Coins and Jackpots appear during the respin, all of which are collected.
• Can you buy the bonus in Midas Hype House?

No. There’s no bonus buy and no enhanced bet option, so all features have to be triggered naturally. That suits the game’s design, since the Key meter and Multiplier Ladder are built around extended base game play.
• What does the Midas Collect symbol do in the Bonus Spins?

It collects all Coins in a cross-shaped pattern around the position it lands in. Because the pattern is fixed, where the symbol lands determines how many Coins it picks up, which makes its position on the grid genuinely matter.
