Money Track 2 Slot Review 2024

Stakelogic is back with an upgraded model of their original Money Track slot with better graphics and even bigger potential, in Money Track 2!

Let’s be honest, Money Track is a blatant rip-off of the critically acclaimed Money Train. You need not be a slot enthusiast to think it looks rather familiar.

The question is, is Money Track comparable to Money Train in terms of appeal? Stakelogic aren’t quite up to date if they’re following in the footsteps of Relax because they’re already on their third game, but let’s give Money Track 2 the benefit of the doubt for now and at least see how it measures up to Money Track 1.

Money Track 2 Base Game

Train Heist

Special Train symbols with random multiplier values on them may appear across the reels. Whenever a Train symbol lands in the base game, it will add its Multiplier value to the Collection meter above its respective reel.

With the next paid spin, if no more Train symbols appear in view, the total Collections above each reel will reset to 0. The Train Heist feature is triggered when a special Gold Train Heist symbol lands in view.

Once active, the Train Heist symbol will collect all Multiplier values from above each of the reels and pay the total Multiplier amount per your current bet. At the end of the Train Heist feature, all Multiplier values above the reel will reset back to 0.

Landing 6 or more Train symbols in the base game at any one time will automatically trigger the Cash Bonus round, awarding 3 Respins.

Cash Bonus Enhancers

Each Train symbol that appears in the base game will also contribute +1 step towards unlocking the next available Bonus Enhancer for the Cash Bonus round.

The game starts off on Level 1, with the first Cash Bonus Enhancer already unlocked. In order to unlock others, you will need to land a certain number of Train symbols in the base game.

Each Cash Bonus Enhancer is different and can deliver the following enhancers during the Cash Bonus round.

  • Bonus Enhancer 1 – Reveals a Multiplier value between x2 and x30.
  • Bonus Enhancer 2 – Reveals a random Multiplier value between x2 and x50 that adds its value to all other Multipliers in the grid.
  • Bonus Enhancer 3 – Reveals a random Multiplier value between x2 and x80 that doubles the Multipliers in the grid.
  • Bonus Enhancer 4 – Reveals a Multiplier value between x2 and x100 that collects all Multiplier values on other symbols in the grid.

Cash Bonus

Once the Cash Bonus round is triggered, Train or Bonus Enhancer symbols that land on the reels will drop to the lowest position on that particular reel and remain there until further notice.

Once the bottom row has been filled Horizontally with 5 symbols, their total Multiplier values will be awarded and the Respins meter will reset back to 3.

All awarded symbols are then removed from the bottom row and all remaining symbols will drop down to take their positions. If 2 rows are completely filled in the same spin, the next Enhancer is automatically unlocked.

Money Track 2: Our Verdict

Money Track 2 has significant potential, and the appeal is very significant too. However, it doesn’t quite live up to Money Train.

Perhaps it’s just a question of who got there first. Money Track 2 feels a little unimaginative thematically, and it feels like they’re riding on someone else’s coattails.

We’re very aware that everything can’t be completely innovative, but sometimes the inspiration behind a release is all too obvious. Money Track 2 tries to distance itself with features like Train Heist and a Cash Bonus Feature that looks quite different to Money Train, but again, it just doesn’t seem as appealing.

Don’t get us wrong, if you’re not too bothered about Money Track 2 vs Money Train then Money Track 2 actually seems very good. It has potential that puts it up there with some of the highest paying non-jackpot slots around, and we’ll be interested to see if it can prove itself when it releases.

Overall, Money Track 2 is probably Aldi or Lidl, and Money Train is M&S or Waitrose, but it may prove to be a successful release for Stakelogic yet.
