Our Verdict
Mystery Genie: Fortunes of the Lamp has just the right amount of sass to be an interesting option to those looking for a genie game with a difference, but the gameplay itself feels a little common, and perhaps even repetitive and underwhelming.
It can certainly perform, but it feels more like a game that you visit when you’re itching for something new, and whether or not it makes you a return player depends entirely on how it does. For us, it was tedious at times, and the potential felt quite low. Statistics would argue that it can perform very well with up to 6,000x the bet as a maximum win, but we can’t envision a scenario where it would come to fruition.
Mystery Genie Fortunes of the Lamp has a touch of sparkle to it with a memorable and likeable character, but it falls short in making a real statement.
