Powerbucks Mystery Of The Lamp Treasure Oasis Slot Review
An Arabian dusk, pink sky over jungle foliage, and three fat genie lamps parked on gold coins above the reels, each one labelled like a wish you haven’t made yet. Powerbucks Mystery Of The Lamp Treasure Oasis keeps its real engine up there rather than on the grid: the 50 paylines below are close to a formality, and what you’re actually doing spin after spin is feeding gems to jars whose breaking decides everything about the round you eventually get.
It’s an IGT build on a 5×3 grid with betting fixed at 50 paylines, and the POWERBUCKS progressive tops its prize ladder. The studio’s shelf also holds Cash Eruption, Cleopatra and Rainbow Riches. There’s no RTP published for this one, and the ceiling is the jackpot itself.
Base Game & Features
The base game plays out on five reels and three rows, with betting fixed at 50 paylines and every spin covering all of them. The reels carry the usual card run of 9, 10, J and Q alongside elephants, crossed swords and axes, a temple and oasis symbol, and a set of gems.
It’s the gems that matter; they’re not there to line up on paylines so much as to be thrown at the jars. Those three jars perched on the cabinet frame, one orange with a lit flame, one pearly white, one magenta, are more than decoration.
Each Double Gem, Ignite Gem and Jackpot Gem Scatter that lands in any position flies up to its matching jar. When a Gem Scatter breaks a jar, the Mystery of the Lamp Bonus begins with that jar’s feature switched on.
The base game is therefore a slow filling of three meters. The colour of the gem you land tells you which feature you’re feeding, and nothing else in the base game moves the needle. It’s a waiting room with good lighting.
There’s no stated hit frequency either. What the game does publish is its bet structure: total bets of 4.00 or more qualify for the full POWERBUCKS Progressive, while anything under that is eligible only for a fixed POWERBUCKS prize of $15,000.
Your stake decides which genie you’re rubbing.
Powerbucks Mystery Of The Lamp Treasure Oasis Bonus Features
Mystery of the Lamp Bonus
Triggering the bonus awards three bonus spins. Which reels you play on depends on which jars you broke:
- Double, Ignite, or Double and Ignite active: 15 separate reels, with only Coins, Double Gems, Ignite Gems and Jackpot Gems in play
- Any combination that includes Jackpot: 30 separate reels
- If the Jackpot feature activates mid-bonus, the remainder switches to 30 separate reels
Every Coin Symbol lands with a prize value attached. Any Coin, Double Gem, Ignite Gem or Gem Scatter showing on an unlocked reel after a spin resets the count to three, and reels holding Coins stay locked for the rest of the bonus.
The round runs until no respins remain or every reel has locked. Lock them all and the POWERBUCKS prize is awarded outright, skipping any remaining spins.
Double Feature
With the Double jar broken, Double Gems that appear after a bonus spin transform into 2x multipliers placed over Coins on the reels, doubling each Coin’s value. The caps are precise:
- Up to 10 of the 2x multipliers per bonus spin
- Each 2x multiplier sits over a single Coin
- Any one Coin can be doubled a maximum of four times per bonus
Ignite Feature
The Ignite feature is slower and meaner. After a bonus spin, an Ignite Gem sets one Coin on the reels alight, and that Coin’s value climbs at the start of each remaining spin.
One gem, one Coin, growing every time the counter ticks down. It rewards staying power in a round whose spin count keeps resetting, which is where the tension lives.
Jackpot Feature
The Jackpot jar fills a five-tier ladder. Each Gem that appears after a bonus spin fills one gem position under the POWERBUCKS, Major, Maxi, Minor or Mini prize meter:
- Fill all three gem positions under a meter and that prize is awarded, with the meter cleared
- Multiple Major, Maxi, Minor and Mini prizes can be won in one bonus; the Major pays only once
- POWERBUCKS is won by collecting three corresponding prize gems in a single bonus, or by locking all 30 reels
- Collected gems clear at the end of the bonus
POWERBUCKS Progressive
The progressive can only be won inside the Mystery of the Lamp Bonus. In the Double or Ignite features, fill all 15 spaces with coins. In the Jackpot feature, either fill the red meter under the POWERBUCKS bar with three POWERBUCKS Symbols or lock all 30 available spaces with coins.
A counter beside the reels tracks how many coins you still need, and the chance of winning scales linearly with bet size. Total bets under 4.00 compete for the fixed POWERBUCKS prize of $15,000 instead of the running total.
Our Honest Verdict
Overall Rating: 7.1/10
This is a patient game wearing an impatient theme. You spend most of your time under that pink dusk feeding jars one gem at a time, and the reason to choose it is exactly that build: when a jar finally breaks, you’re not starting a free-spins round, you’re starting something whose ending you can see coming reel by reel.
The strength is the bonus’s compounding. Because the spin counter keeps resetting and the middle jackpot tiers clear and refill, one good round can pay again and again, which is rarer than it should be. The weakness is that you’re doing all of it blind on value: no RTP, and a top prize you only ever see as a number ticking in a meter, so the maths stays the game’s secret.
It’s a good home for jackpot hunters and anyone who likes a long build, and a poor one for players who want the numbers on the table before they sit down. For the first group, the lamps are lit and the jars are worth feeding.
Powerbucks Mystery Of The Lamp Treasure Oasis FAQs
-
How many paylines does Powerbucks Mystery Of The Lamp Treasure Oasis have?
Betting is fixed at 50 paylines, so every spin covers all 50 and there’s no option to reduce the count. -
What is the grid size of Powerbucks Mystery Of The Lamp Treasure Oasis?
The base game uses a 5×3 grid: five reels and three rows. During the Mystery of the Lamp Bonus the action moves to either 15 or 30 separate reels depending on which jar features are active. -
Who makes Powerbucks Mystery Of The Lamp Treasure Oasis?
IGT. It’s part of their POWERBUCKS progressive family, alongside titles like Cash Eruption and Cleopatra. -
How do you trigger the Mystery of the Lamp Bonus?
Gem Scatter Symbols in any position fly up to their matching jar: Double Gems to the Double Jar, Ignite Gems to the Ignite Jar and Jackpot Gems to the Jackpot Jar. When a Gem Scatter breaks a jar, the bonus starts with that feature active. -

Double Gems transform into 2x multipliers placed over Coins, doubling each Coin’s value. Up to ten 2x multipliers can be placed per bonus spin, and a single Coin can be doubled a maximum of four times across the bonus. -
What does the Ignite feature do?
It sets one Coin on fire. The ignited Coin’s value increases at the start of every bonus spin that follows, so the longer the round keeps resetting, the more that single Coin is worth. -

Total bets of 4.00 or more are eligible for the progressive, which can only be won in the Mystery of the Lamp Bonus: fill all 15 spaces with coins in the Double or Ignite features, or in the Jackpot feature fill the red POWERBUCKS meter with three symbols or lock all 30 reel spaces. Bets under 4.00 are eligible for a fixed POWERBUCKS prize of $15,000 instead.
