The Power Up feature is a 5-reel Mini Game where only special Character Tokens, Potions, and Scatter symbols can land. If no new symbols land, 1 Life is lost. However, when a new symbol lands, it will replenish all 3 Lives. This round will end when all 3 Lives are depleted, progressing you into Free Spins.

•  Character Symbols – Collecting 3 Character symbols will cause the corresponding Character symbol to be upgraded for the remainder of Free Spins.
• Potion Symbols – Collecting 3 Potion symbols increases the Multiplier by +x1, up to a maximum of x10.
• Scatter Symbols – Collecting 3 Scatter symbols will increase the number of Free Spins by +1, up to a maximum of 10 Free Spins. The maximum Power Up feature spins is 33.

At the end of the Power-Up Feature, you will enter Free Spins with the setup you accumulated via the Power-Up Feature. During Free Spins, it is not possible to retrigger the round.

Play’n GO brings to life the story of how Syn’s power came to be via a compelling backstory as you load up the game, but was gameplay equally compelling?

In the base game, you will witness a fraction of Syn’s power during the Syn Character Upgrade Feature. However, in the Power-Up feature that activates before Free Spins, you will have the chance to trigger upgrades on all 4 High-paying symbols.

The Syn Character Upgrade feature is simple yet effective, especially when there are numerous instances of the chosen symbol on the reels. The fun really begins in Free Spins, where you will be able to enhance your gameplay via the Power-Up feature.

Landing 3 of the same Character symbols, Potions, and Scatters will boost your Free Spins round by introducing symbol upgrades, Multipliers, and additional Free Spins. Sadly, even with the max setup equipped, TOM: Syn’s Fortune can only deliver max wins of up to 3,000x.

All in all, Play’n GO has done a tremendous job with the design and gameplay side of things, yet it loses a little of its power due to the max win cap.
