Undefeated Xerxes Base Game and Features
Undefeated Xerxes is a 5-reel Video Slot with 30 fixed pay lines. Wins are formed when 3 or more of the same symbols land from left to right, starting from the leftmost reel.

Wild Frames & Multiplier Wilds

During the base game, between 3 and 4 Wild Frames can be randomly positioned across the reel set. Wild Frames can also be upgraded. Each Wild Frame will transform into Wild and Multiplier Wilds automatically.
Scatter Feature
Randomly during gameplay, 2 Scatter symbols can be added to the first 2 reels. This increases your chances of triggering the Free Spins round but does guarantee a 3rd Scatter will land.
Free Spins
Landing 3 Scatters in the base game triggers the Free Spins round, awarding 10 Free Spins. In Free Spins, no Scatters are present and the round cannot be retriggered.
During Free Spins, each Wild symbol leaves behind a Wild Frame. Wild Frames remain present on the reels until the end of the Free Spins round. A second Wild that lands inside a Wild Frame will transform the Wild Frame into an upgraded version.
On the final Free Spin, all Wild Frames will transform into Wild symbols, with each upgraded Wild Frame transforming into Wild Multipliers. On the final spin, the Hero symbol receives a x25 Multiplier.
Undefeated Xerxes: Our Verdict
Play’n GO is up to their usual tricks in their latest slot of 2024, with interesting features and mechanics, coupled with a rich historical theme. Romans have appeared in many slots from a mix of Providers, putting us in the centre of an epic battle between rivals. Undefeated Xerxes gives us front-row seats to a battle between King Xerxes and King Leonidas, minus all the blood and guts.
Undefeated Xerxes has gameplay that has become very typical in a Play’n GO slot. Wilds and Multiplier Wilds take to the reels, along with a Wild Frames Feature that enhances wins up to the tune of 10,000x. It seems unlikely that this type of feature can be capable of such a figure, yet the Free Spins round proves promising.
In Free Spins, all Wild Frames remain in the positions they appear in until the end of the round. Wilds that land within these positions will upgrade the Wild Frames so that only Wild Multipliers can hit on the final spin, with Hero symbols taking on a x25 Multiplier.
